Cedi is definitely an above average defender but not sure he is ready for playoff basketbal on the offensive end. He would keep the ball moving but he isnt a reliable long distance shooter yet. I would be willing to give him 3-5 minutes a game but probably not much more than that.

Z... is just flat out inexperienced. He played more than 5 minutes 14 times this year. And only 7 times more than 10 minutes. Has he shown flashes, absolutely. But to expect him to show up in a very competitive playoff series even for a short period of time is probably asking too much.

Exactly, I’m not saying neither isn’t talented, I just think inserting them now is premature.

Edit. Especially for Z where he would be matching up against some very good opposing bigs is a tall task

The only way to get experience is to play. If Lue keeps them glued to the bench, they’ll be inexperience NEXT time around, too.

In a series where we could use defensive intensity, rim protection, and rebounding, and our “shooters” are not consistently making shots, no reason not to give them some burn. Most of our “shooters” offer nothing, when they aren’t making shots.

Lance clearly plays at his best when starting with LeBron. Idk why it’s so hard for this coach to stick with what seems to be working. Him playing inconsistent minutes and having to share them with Tristan has really thrown his game off

The longer this series goes on the more I am impressed with Indiana's roster.

They really don't have a weak rotation player. Cory Joseph would be the closest thing to it.

Their big rotation is excellent with Thad, Turner, and Sabonis.

Lance plays out of his mind in Indiana and against LeBron. Dipo is an all-star. Collison is rock solid. And Bojan is a legit sniper who is also capable of making plays.

Bottom line is that while they lack upper end star power (so do we now :( ) they have an excellent group of players that fit well together.

Bottom line: Not surprising this series has been so difficult for us.
It's incredible really. So much so I'd be low-key worried LeBron could get lured to the Pacers if we squeak by this series and self combust in the second round. Oladipo Bogdanogic Bron Young Turner lineup would be a nightmare if Bron gets to be the worst defender on the floor.

No way it happens though.

Bron will be in:

Cleveland
LA with other Stars
Miami with other Stars
Philly
San Antonio

I don’t think anyone else has a chance. The other “fits”, purely basketball would be Utah (Gobert, Bron, Mitchell), Portland (Dame, CJ, Bron) and OKC (Bron, PG, Russ). Again though, zero chance on those teams.

I was against using the Brooklyn pick on him. I wasn't against bringing him in. I am pretty sure they would have given up the Cavs own pick.

Yeah he would look good here, and would make Love better. Maybe that was the move. One thing is for sure, it might have been something the Coaching staff could have figured out integrating one player.

However, don't underestimate how poorly Lue uses Centers. He is possessed with going small.

Welcome to Game-1 of Easter Conference Playoffs - Round 1.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are rolling out with a starting unit of George Hill, Kyle Korver, LeBron James, Kevin Love and Jeff Green.

Coach Lue says DeAndre Jordan would come off the bench as the starting unit needs more aggressive players.

Lance & Bron Together?

The image I get of all the Cedi and Zizic fans frustrated that neither r playing is priceless .. like listening to a Lib whine about Trump 24/7 .

Yo just so we are all on the same page .. Everybody on our team plays better with LeBron. So I’m not really sure why you even mentioned this considering LeBron is already playing Near max minutes .

Is it the same image every user gets on this forum with each post you make?

Cavs really need a big with some muscle/touch down low.
Some of us have been touting that for several years now, but every time it's brought up someone thinks back to the 70's/80's and claims we want a slow plodding center.
Centers are not the same type as was in those era's .
Cavs don't have someone that Lue will play who can defend and alter shots.
