I thought this was a great point from Lloyd's final thoughts, and something I thought about last year...

4. A few players at shootaround Sunday morning compared the physicality of this series to that Celtics series. I was chatting informally with one player who made an astute observation: Young teams such as the Celtics last season and Pistons this year with little to no postseason experience feel like they have to play more physical because they’re now in the playoffs, but they don’t understand how to do it within the context of the game.

That is 100%, dead-on-balls accurate right there.

The series wasn't even that physical...........

Pistons were some dirty mofos and got away with all of it. Mostly Drummond and Morris were the dirty ones if we want to be specific though. This league boggles my mind sometimes.

At least a little crazy that Lebron had the only reviewed foul.

I wonder if SVG sat Drummond primarily because he thought it was the best chance to win or sat him so Drummond would have something to think about over the summer

definitely played baseball with the guy that tweeted that, is there a reason why you quoted him specifically?
he had the NBA officiating post game review. in his tweet

lol, i'd be surprised if he is the only person on twitter with it, and equally surprised that czvosec searched twitter for the report

I've posted this like 2 other places, but for perspective, here's the other angle. (Sorry for the quality)

If that's not intent to injure, I don't know what is.
Yeah, the NBA handled this series horribly. Look at half the comments that Morris had made--you knew he was out there trying to injure people. If they can't beat us, they wanted to ruin us for the next round... That's not how the game should be played and the NBA should have made him an example. Hell, if you suspended him long enough, his brother might do a voluntary suspension too, considering they still suckle on the same teat.

Kyrie's defense on Jackson on that last possession was so well done. Jackson didn't want that shot, he wanted a foul. Kyrie refused and Jackson threw up junk.

Nah, I follow him. He screengrabbed the report, and it was right there, so I didn't have to do any kind of search.

So to answer the original question: convenience.

So is @Walter White and I the only ones that heard Reggie Jackson basically call the league rigged at the press conference last night?
