So is @Walter White and I the only ones that heard Reggie Jackson basically call the league rigged at the press conference last night?
the funny part is that if they did rig it. it was for point shaving and it benefitted Jackson and the Pistons

I never got a notification for my name being tagged :bigcry:

But no joke, I might go back and listen to his presser again and pull all the fine worthy quotes from it. There were a lot. How he hasn't been fined heavily by now I don't know.

Maybe the league just decided to ignore him and not draw attention to it :detective::chuckle:

Pretty crazy Jackson was fuming after the game as if he was a victim of the refs when the refs were the only reason they were even in the game, and the NBA confirmed this. Often times we fans during the game are just delusional.. last night, it was real. There was a real slant to that game to try to make it exciting. Mission accomplished, I guess. I hate that my favorite sport does that beyond description.

i mean thats all i could think while i read through his comments, and the comments on the article, but not a single fucking person even metioned the fact that we got absolutely railed by the refs, to the point where they were letting them punch us in the face and elbow us in the neck, repeatedly, literally

reggie lost his damn mind. i cant believe he would criticize the refs after THAT fuckin ggame

I cannot find Jackson's full presser anywhere, just like 2 minute clips. Not on Pistons website, NBA.com doesn't have it, don't see it on youtube or anywhere. NBA must really be trying to hide it.

If you find the full thing, please post.

I'm curious to see it now.

Delusional. How about calling a timeout and setting up an inbounds play with like seven seconds left? No?

"I'll single-handedly win the game by trying to draw a foul on an ill-advised and desperate three-point shot! Yeah, that's the ticket!"

Clown.

Fwiw, pistons just don't post a lot of their interviews anywhere. For example I was looking for Drummonds and Jacksons interviews after game 3, and couldn't find them anywhere.

I like Reggie Jackson as a player. He's a dynamic offensive talent. He put forward more defensive effort than I expected out of him. He was the leader of an overachieving Detroit team.

However, an interview like that shows the kind of person he is. I'm not sure a team with him as the leader is ever going to be something to be afraid of. He just doesn't get what it means to be a mature adult.

Just saw the post game presser of game 4 i really like what i saw and you can tell the big three see big thing this post season i cant wait for next round

Moz should have been sitting and getting healthy since the day we got Frye. Maybe earlier. Don't understand how we handled Kyrie so well but let the center who cost us two 1sts basically run himself into the ground physically and mentally.
Apparently that's on Blatt(?)..if the surgery didn't go well, you wouldn't push the guy to play in the freaking preseason? Really?
Preseason?
c'on man..we talkin bout preseason..

Sorry man. McRae, James Jones, Dahntay Jones and Mo aren't playoff-caliber players. In the NBA, you shorten your rotations. They can eat up garbage minutes, but that's it.

Kyrie/JR/LBJ/Love/Thompson, Shump, Delly are our top 7. Add spot minutes for Jefferson as the backup wing, Frye as the backup big. Then maybe a specialist like Mozgov if you need rim protection. That's your rotation.

There are no more back-to-backs. There is plenty of rest. You don't go deep into your bench. That's just not playoff basketball--especially with this roster.
Lets discuss this again in finals/post-postseason.. :) for now we share different views..
And thank you lyuokdea for the Disagree without comment - helps a lot.

Bumping this one... still want to wait until after the Finals to talk about our rotation?
