I still hate, hate, hate listening to Hubie Brown's constant pro-Raptors commentary. I hope we don't get that guy again this year.

We should be good. All the ECF games are on TNT, and then in the Finals we get the ‘A’ crew of Breen, Van Gundy, and Mark Jackson.

@shoes22, do you think the NBA will wait to decide on a Round 3 start date until after Celtics/Wizards is settled? Curious since, before the Raptors beat the Bucks, they made the call on a start date in advance.

Raps were better last year. They tried to make moves to match up with us, but none of the moves made them a better team.

Cavs in 4. Never a doubt.

I tgink this years team was better. Last years team matched up slightly better. Also they were healthy and had a PF that went all world for 2 games

Hes such a waste of a big. Hes so athletic but refuses to play the game of a big.

It depends. If this was an ABC/ESPN ECF year, they’d definitely wait because they need to fill that Sunday afternoon timeslot. But since we’re on TNT they don’t have those kind of constraints.

I actually think in this case, they’ll wait to see if the WCF needs to be moved up or not before they make a decision, because it would be odd to play two games of that series on Sunday and Tuesday before ours even starts. I think that would be the only scenario where our series is moved up.

In all likelihood our series will start on Wednesday, May 17 and won’t be moved up, unless somebody says otherwise.

Feel like people never understand that a big part of Hubie's entire bit is to coach the team that is losing back into the game. If the Cavs were down 10 he'd coach them back into the game as well. It's not favoritism. It's him describing what he would do if he was the coach on the losing end of the game.

I think people had a problem with Hubie groaning and say "oh come on now" every single time the Cavs made a shot and be pumped up and excited for every little thing the Raptors did. You can call it you want, but he was definitely pro-Raptors this series

They're national games, the broadcasters should be impartial (regardless of their preference).

That said, there's only one true way to shut them up: Let our game do the talking.

Don't think they'll wait. I know @shoes22 answered already. But, I logged into my NBA Media Communications account and looked up the key dates and it is pretty much locked in....

May 16: Conference Finals begin (possible move up to May 14 or 15)
May 16: NBA Draft Lottery 2017

I point out the lottery because a game is usually right after that. So, most likely the WCF starts Sunday then go like this:

Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
ECF: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday

FWIW...I didn't expect him to be THAT bad.

I know he's "27". I thought he looked like 30-31 in his last run with OKC. After the Orls do experience and going to Tor...I think it's more like 34.

Lateral speed is gone. Quick jumping and re-jumping are gone. His hands are sketchy. He doesn't bang down low anymore. He can't guard on the perimeter anymore and also doesn't intimidate anyone at the rim. He's just fallen off so much. And most of this is what I took away from the series, only some of it I had thought before. Al they ever do is pick and pop him. He never rolls.to the basket...never rim runs...

He's just kinda of a big, semi athletic, plodding decent but not great shooting stretch big man.
