I strongly believe we still have some hidden plays and plans we were able to preserve because we demolished the east. Frye not playing or were we resting him and RJ? They are old. LeBron was playing without exactly emptying his tank and got plenty of rest between each series.
I really believe LeBron and Lue have some hidden stuff. Just that smart (entire team is actually imo).

For me this comes down the Love. If he plays like he did in the ECF then Cavs in 6.

Looking for Lebron Kyrie and Love to avg 35/25/20 respectively.

Dont really watch much espn/tv these days. Whats the general consensus regarding our chances?

Not only do we have no chance, but after we get destroyed this year, we have to give back last years trophy.

We can contend with the Dbags if we bring it. Someone other than our big three will HAVE to make an appearance though, whether its Korver, Deron or whoever. It could be JR but he's pretty much been a no show all season. If that happens and any one of their big guns slips, I like our chances. Frankly I'm a little surprised how all the gasbags give us such a low chance of winning.

All that stats and basketball knowledge says the team with better offense and defense wins

But the Cavs have the wild card in lbj

Crazy have to watch couple games to see

ESPN has an article about the most star studded Finals over the years. The article is their usual mind numbing garbage, but I thought it was good of them to let us know the results of the series before hand.

Lets hope LeBron is as aggressive in game 1 of 2015 than he was in game 1 of 2016. We have to punch them in the mouth first.

I saw an idea suggested on RealGM where the Cavs use Kyrie in the Chris Paul role at times. Sometimes Chris Paul would guard Durant and it almost dared him to go one on one, etc. Durant would get his points, but it would throw off the offense.

The thing is nearly everbody in the Media gets wrong is the "GSW has the mental edge.. they want revenge.." etc..

They might say "we where the better Team and that title belongs to us".. but deep down even they know it was all on them.. If they where such a better Team they would never had missed 3! Straight chances to close out a oh so inferior Team. And no "Steph was not himself and Bogut was out" counts.. If you are THAT much better.. you close the deal regardless.. They know that..
They also know they have no right whatsoever to feel they can Prove themselves.. They added fucking KD.. They cant be that dumb to not realise they totally tried to cheat their way to a title.

We are the defending Champs.. we came back from 1-3 against the best RS Team of all Time.. And still we are utterly disrespected by most.. Nearly nobody gives us the "They are the defending champs until beaten credit.." Most think GSW wins in 5 or at max 6

You know what...as much as it annoys me.. i love it..
This puts the Team back into the heavy Underdog role.. they can play with house money because they are suppose to lose anyway. All the Pressure is on GSW.. if they dont win... the backlash will be unfathomable.. They will be known as THE Choker Team.. THE Unclutch Team..They forever will be known as the Larriors..

And we all know they dont respond well to too much pressure..

The Cavs just played absolutely awful. Both LeBron and Kyrie just did not play well at all in those games.

I think that was the most frustrating part. If those two played better, we don't come back 0-2. Actually Love was pretty good, we played pretty good defense, just Kyrie and LB didn't play like they were capable of.

Once they did, it was all she wrote. They were clearly the best players in the series. Just the rest of the world was shocked by how good Kyrie really was.

As bad as Game 2 ended up being, there were arguably signs early in that game that the Cavs would end up being the better team across the series, just as in Game 4.

HotRocks34 has some good neutral analysis about how the comeback from 3-1 was not some sort of fluke as Dubs/MJ fanatics argue but more of the way the series was supposed to go in the first place.

Watched KD highlights vs us this year to see who he scored against. Well, first time on Christmas, he got a few in transition of course. Then about 4 or so buckets came when Liggins was guarding him. A couple against LBJ. A couple against Shump. A couple against TT on the switch. And a couple against RJ.

Liggins and Shump were just way too small to guard him. And he will just toast RJ. TT has the size, but I think is too slow. JR has more size and he will be available this time, but he can commit dumb fouls and KD is good at drawing fouls. But I think JR will have to guard him. If JR is at his best defensively and plays smart, sound defense, that will be huge for us. But I think LBJ will have to guard him more than usual. JR and LBJ are our best bet, and throw Shump at him once in awhile.

In the January game, literally almost all of KD's points came in transition. I think one came against Shump in the half court off of a screen.

Watched Steph vs us and Liggins guarded him too a lot actually, but the majority of his points also came from transition. And the rest basically off screens, whether pick and roll or off the ball for three.

So matching up in our starting lineup, I think we may have to defend straight up almost across the board initially with maybe switching our bigs and putting TT on Green and Love on Pachulia/McGee. But Kyrie will guard Steph. And I think JR will have to chase around Klay. Because JR isn't quick enough to guard Steph and Klay has a big size advantage on Kyrie. Which leaves LBJ on KD.

The other option is to put TT on KD, LBJ on Draymond, and Love on Pachulia/McGee/West. But I don't think TT can guard KD. He definitely has the size, but KD's crossover is too quick for him.

When Warriors go small, I think it is actually to our advantage because we can put Kyrie on McCaw or Clark. Or put LBJ on one of them or Iggy if we want to. But if they start McCaw instead of a big, I actually don't know what is best with our current starting lineup. TT may have to come off the bench. Because Love would have to guard KD or McCaw and I doubt we bench Love from the starting lineup. So Love would guard Green and Shump or Korver would start. Or even Deron.

On the other end of it, KD or Steph can't hide on Liggins anymore. And you can't sag off Love. So they also have problems to worry about. Steph is going to be tired and get killed if he has to guard Kyrie. Whoever is our 2 guard has to make shots or be a threat though if we want to succeed.

I'm 100% confident that the Cavs have everything they need to win this series.

I'm also 100% confident the GSW have the talent to take the series if our guys don't play smart, physical, quick, and with heart for enough minutes to get 4 wins.

It always comes down to what the players bring when they get between the lines. I personally think LBJ and supporting cast will be able to rise to the occasion enough to get to 4 wins. I hope they can get it done on our floor in Game 6.

The bolded Part is something i often read yet i always have to laugh at. Everbody who watched the Series closely has to see it. You can see even in Games 2 and that there are stretche where you can easilly see that in the long run the Cavs are getting at every weakness GSW has. Then by Game 3 they had them figured out. Then Game 4 was lost because a mix of the only 1 Day Rest Game and admittetly some plain dumb errors by us. Games 5-7 are History. Nearly nobody realises that this Series had turned by Game 3. The Cavs where 4-1 after Game 2.

It was not a fluke at all.. and this is why we absolutely can build on beating them last year. Of course we have to factor in KD but even he does not change how you beat them: Be Agressive,Physical,Bully them, dominate the Glass,Make them have to tire out because they have to defend..

I too feel like us winning in 6 is whats likely gonna happen. Right now we are even better on the Road than at home..

The way i see it playing out:

Game 1: We win something like 115-108.. GSW gets hot but too late
Game 2: GSW wins while getting hot - 112-101
Game 3: We blow them out because Korver,Deron and co torch them - 130-109
Game 4: GSW wins like last year mostly due to schedule - 113-107
Game 5: We win in Oracle rather convincingly. - 119 - 103
Game 6: We close them out at home - 105 - 98
