For me we stand a much greater chance against Houston. Have to root big time for Houston to win tonight.
They don't have the finals experience and could feel some major nerves if they make it that far.
We have a punchers chance no matter who we play. Its not a great one but I won't ever say we don't have any chance.

The problem is that we just beat a team that essentially has zero true offensive weapons (including poor shooting), and LBJ's offensive greatness was all we needed on that end of the floor to win. But Houston and GSW are both offensive powerhouses. To beat those teams, you have to be really good on both ends of the floor, and one guy simply can't do that.

We have shown we are capable of playing gritty defense as a team. Can we do it for 48 min , 4 to 7 times? Probably not. But i have faith we will win atleast some games and as i have said before both GSW and houston look sub-optimal. Hill is going to be one of the most important players if we face gsw i think. And we should try to do what we did with boston. Play pick n roll with LBJ and whoever he wants to play 1v1 with and force the switch. Let him abuse curry and durant wear them out. They are not used to playing heavy minutes like lebron is doing. Thats what happend in game 5 vs the rockets, they got tired.

Lol at the thread title

It’s the warriors

Ever since KD chose them it will be them

CP3 is done and refs won’t call any fouls

Is this a "legacy game" for Harden or is that something only LeBron gets burdened with? I'll never forget how he caved against a Spurs team without Kawhi last year and got owned by a 39 year old Ginobili.

Not to set-up any excuses for Harden but the league office didn't do the Rockets any favors assigning Scott Foster for game 7. I remember reading an article back then about how Tim Donaghy made more calls to Scott Foster than he did to his bookie. Amazing how the worst referee in the league according to the players, survives that scandal

My metric on this is, assuming you play an average game for your standards, games only affect your legacy if your team wins when they're expected to lose, or if your team loses when you're expected to win.

If you meet expectations, nothing changes. So because I think we can all see that Golden State is the better team (even though they're lower seeded), Harden's legacy is only affected positively if he beats them, and is only affected negatively if he loses and doesn't put up All-Star numbers.

LeBron deserves a ring this season more than any other season. Especially when compared to the front-running warriors, with KD the coward. Regardless, getting this far with what has went on this season, is pretty amazing. I will be shocked if we win 2 games in the finals vs the Warriors, but I'm not even tripping because shutting up Boston fans yet again is this years trophy.

Your metric, sure, but it's frustrating that Bron is "expected" to win every time, and if he loses, then FINALZ ELLZ and stuff.

Laker-turned-Dub fans and MJ stans are dictating this metric for any team not in Illinois or California, so it's the standard that Harden, Westbrook, etc. are also expected to measure up to.

Ky wasn't even man enough to be in the fucking building last night. Goddamn coward. We're here now, tip it and let's fucking go. As someone once said, "That's why you play the games."

I got to watch Game 7 with BOTH my Boys.
I didn't stress (for me) the entire Game.
Re-Posting my Game Thread before the start.

"Hope.
Tribe down 8-3 going to the bottom of the 9th.
Win in 14 on a Greg Allen (2nd MLB HR ever) Walkoff HR."

I want another Summer of Shirtless JR.

Foster was a “go-to” guy when LeBron was in Miami as well. He worked wonders against Chicago and Indy....guy definitely has a reputation for carrying out agendas.

That being said, I think the NBA makes out very well if it’s Houston or GSW. I’m not sure what the agenda would be to push one team or the other....there is a lot of GSW fatigue IMO.
