Cavs vs. Warriors IV - 2018 NBA Finals

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

What will the final result be?

  • Total voters
    321
  • Poll closed .
Your metric, sure, but it's frustrating that Bron is "expected" to win every time, and if he loses, then FINALZ ELLZ and stuff.

Laker-turned-Dub fans and MJ stans are dictating this metric for any team not in Illinois or California, so it's the standard that Harden, Westbrook, etc. are also expected to measure up to.
Why in earth would anyone humor that retarded premise?

That's their problem not yours. And it's easily dismantled

Who cares what they irrationally think

People will twist the ref numbers into whatever helps support their preconceived notions. How do I know this? Because the Warriors are 8-7 in games reffed by Foster in the playoffs, and 50-13 in games he doesn't ref over the last 3 years.

This looks a LOT like the "who are you rooting for in Game 7 2016" SportsNation map.

Odd to see the same part of the Great Plains against us again. Is Lue really disliked that much in his homeland? He played for the Huskers in college and is from small-town Mizzou.

Is Foster tonight?

Yes he is. I am an idiot who cannot read.

Is this a "legacy game" for Harden or is that something only LeBron gets burdened with? I'll never forget how he caved against a Spurs team without Kawhi last year and got owned by a 39 year old Ginobili.

Not to set-up any excuses for Harden but the league office didn't do the Rockets any favors assigning Scott Foster for game 7. I remember reading an article back then about how Tim Donaghy made more calls to Scott Foster than he did to his bookie. Amazing how the worst referee in the league according to the players, survives that scandal
Ya I do not know how the league is gonna survive legalized gambling with this shit happening.

Foster was a “go-to” guy when LeBron was in Miami as well. He worked wonders against Chicago and Indy....guy definitely has a reputation for carrying out agendas.

That being said, I think the NBA makes out very well if it’s Houston or GSW. I’m not sure what the agenda would be to push one team or the other....there is a lot of GSW fatigue IMO.
I think it's terrible for the league if the Cavs get swept, or the finals is non competitive, which I think we can all agree GSW virtually guarantees.

On the other hand it is likely great for the league if LeBron forms another super team in the offseason to take down the Warriors. In other words I have no idea which way the WWENBA would want this to go.

I'll be pulling for the Rockets but I fully expect GSW to win tonight. Just too tough for Houston without Chris Paul at full strength (if he plays at all).

Put warriors on the thread title

This is a thirty point win

Man, what awful luck for the Rockets. They look like a worthy competitor for the Warriors all season long, and then deep in a series with the Warriors, they lose Chris Paul. Awful luck.

Houston fans have a nickname for Harden. " elimination game James" abd it isn't complimentary.

his elimination game stats are horrible.

odds arenot in his favor to win let alone have a playoff star caliber outing
