Defensively its a mile and a half behind. Houston won two games while scoring under 100 points.

Do you think there's a universe in which the Cavs can do that against Golden State?

Cavs can score more points. I mean the number of missed 3s. Those went down in other rounds.

We also missed some of the big defensive lineups we saw during the season. Cedi, Green, Korver,LeBron, Hill.

There were stretches of good and great defense. We never saw any of those lineups. Lue went for offense and I get that.

For those in attendance I want you guys to chant OKC every time Durant gets the ball. Maybe get in his head.

OKC legit deserves better than what that eunuch did to that town and state.

I know, I know..Sonics and all, but the people in this state treat the team in a very special way.

If not for markets like OKC, Tulsa? The NBA would be nowhere.

Missing shots when it matters isn't bad luck. Its another roster problem. George Hill is terrified. Korver can't get open. JR Smith sucks. And Green is a bad shooter who shouldn't be relied on to make open 3s. Just because he has doesn't mean he's likely to continue.

Man, we HAVE to find a way to give LeBron some rest.

He looks so gassed late in the games because he has more or less been playing the entire game with hardly a min rest. That seems to be taking a huge toll on him late in the game. He doesn't have the energy to drive and make plays consistently or anchor the defense.

Also, we have to start Love at 5. McGee with his length is providing great rim-protection and is bothering us when we tried to attack the paint. Have him guard Love and exploit that match-up. TT can still play but don't have him there when McGee is playing and cut his mins late in the game when we need buckets.

Welp, according to this video in the realms of this series, Daryl accidentally shot Rick at the end of the first episode and we’ve had to slowly watch the group die over the last week.

Sigh.

Well thats fine, but on the defensive side the Cavs are letting players get open on those screen and pick rolls and aren't giving any help D at all.
That has to stop, in fact I fail to see why Ty didn't take any TO's when that started occurring .

It's not just bad luck. Obviously Green is the most wide open because he is the most wide awful at 3's.

Still other guys have gotten open shots and not hit them.

As far as I remember in this series they have not played 1 min with Lebron and 4 shooters. It's embarrassing. The coach is somehow locked in to going a specific route while he is losing.

they should post up lebron inside ,once he starts scoring then the outside 3's will open up !It doesnt take much to figure that out so keep playing Lebron up top and driving and forcing and let them fill the passing lanes and steal it .SO STUPID ,LUE IS AN IDIOT ,CAN SOME ONE CUT TO THE FRIGGING BASKET INSTEAD OF STANDING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still believe.

One game at a time.

2003 Red Sox did it. Why not us?

Our defense is pants because of Ty Lue only.

1. Our defensive schemes sucks in general.

2. We played no defense throughout the regular season. Yes, you can ramp it up on the defensive end in the playoffs but that is if you have good defensive players like Warriors do in Draymond, Iggy, Klay and KD etc. We on the other hand have a liability like Love, JR who lacks the discipline, Hill who came to the team just few months ago, LeBron who has to carry the entire offensive load and TT who while provides good hustle doesn't have the defensive brain to anchor our defense.

And forget about Lue taking a TO and changing things mid-way through the game. I haven't seen a coach whose in-game management is worse than Ty Lue. He waits way too long before he changes anything or take a TO before the opposition is about to go on a run. The man is as passive a coach as they come.

Ariza should be someone the Cavs and LeBron recruit. We could promise him a starting spot and the same money as the warriors. Ariza, Hood, Cedi at SG is alot of length and with the movable chess piece LeBron is they can be all playable at the same time.

He is the free agent we need to target. Find the star pieces via trade but Ariza could round out the defense and 3 point shooting we need.

Also Ariza might have been willing to come the first time LeBron was here if Lebron gave assurances that he was staying. Ariza was apparently on board to come to the Cavs when Kyrie recruited him and that is not a rumor, thats straight from David Griffin.

Never forget that what Ariza is rumored to be doing is the SAME thing Kevin Durant did. Only Kevin Durant is a talent that doesn't warrant that level of ring chasing.

And Ariza is someone I've wanted on the Cavs ever since he helped Kobe win a title in LA.
That he was going to come over but was unsure because of LeBron tells me all I need to know about the mess we're in.

adding Ariza to the team and having a full season to learn what works and what doesn't on defense with the same squad means we are at least up 2-1 right now

I also think we can sell him on a much bigger role and a guaranteed amount of minutes. It's also has a ripple effect on how we look at the roster. With a two way player like Ariza, you don't even have to think twice about moving Korver. Use Korver to get a backup stretch 4 or a backup point guard.
