“He has great potential,” Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said of Osman on Monday. “I’m very excited for his season. He’s ready for it, and we’re ready to see what he can do with consistent minutes.

The only real question is if the Raptors forfeit the opener before or after Cedi rips off the warm ups.

Looks good. Needs reps now at this level . Really impressive as a playmaker. He is our new point forward and I see him and Sexton being very good together

I thought this exact thing!

Cedi could be our point forward for sure! A couple of his bounce passes on the move looked like LeBron. Of course, he's not on LeBron's level as a playmaker, but he was definitely comfortable running the offense at times.

Loved his pace, demeanor, and confidence. Him, Sexton, and Love will make the cavs watchable and entertaining. The question is, can he dunk?

I've always viewed him as an all round player. Passing, defending, scoring, rebounding. He does it all.

I think he showed he belongs in a starting NBA line up.. I was not surprised.. I was surprised however by Hood..

He’s a pain in the ass defensively.

It was light years better on Tatum than the vomit that JR played on Tatum in the playoffs.

Probably could of had the ECF wrapped up in 5 games had Cedi been the starting 2 last year.

Also what is with the manu ginobili comparisons?? They are nothing alike.

Cedi is a million times bigger, faster, stronger etc.

Manu was a microwave scorer that played with craft, fire, pace, and was a great shooter.

Cedi brings potentially elite defense, rebounding, and some scoring-ball handling abilities.

One was also a shooting guard and the other a text book small forward.

If Cedi becomes half the player Manu was, the Cavs struck gold.

It looks more than 4 assists. He was great as a point forward. Good vision, more self confidence.
I guess we can play small ball with him in some future games, he is also good rebounder. He has definitely more potential than Dekker.
If he continues like this, we may see some triple double from him this season.
Keep on rising Cedi! As Fred McLeod said after the game: "I think the sky is the limit for this young man."

Included interviews with Sexton, Lue, Cedi and Love...

Q: "What is the biggest difference between Cedi now and last season?"
Lue: "No, he had a same thing (laughing...)"

What does it mean? Haven't he improve?
If he was same, why didn't you give him more mins?

Cedi looks great, and it seems he picked up a lot of things playing with James for a year. He's obviously very talented in his own right, but seems to have been able to emulate some of the things LeBron did and has put them into his own game.
