CLE at NJ - Wed 7:30

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They looked tired from the start. No energy at all. Slow. Everything!

Can't blame injuries for this. We would've won if healthy, but the Nets legitimately suck and we had more than enough bodies to beat them tonight.

Another road game against a bad opponent where the Cavs come out lazy and manage to get almost every single player on the other team in rhythm. The first 10 shots the Nets took were either completely uncontested or right at the rim. I can't help but to blame this on coaching. We know these guys can play D. They did it in the 4th and nearly pulled a miracle out of their ass.

Putting Sasha into the starting lineup was a risk. It blew up on Brown. So naturally he doubled up on the mistake and brought him back out in the 3rd. You ARE allowed to make changes at the break. Trust me, it is not in the rule book that you have to trot out the same ineffective line up.

Right now this team is half assing it for large portions of games as they have become accustomed to pulling games out late and they have become way too overconfident in their abilities. Having the injury excuse in their back pocket has made the team even more susceptible to these lapses.

And the offense late? How pretty was that? Andy trying to dream shake in the paint. Lebron pounding along the baseline 30 feet from the hoop and getting doubleteamed. The Nets couldn't do anything in the halfcourt, but we bailed them out with ridiculous possessions of our own that resulted in fastbreak opportunities.

Wally

AV, Wally, and West were pretty much the 3 amigos today in terms of suckiness

wally played really good defense in the 1st half and a good offensive game. He feel off in the second half but by no means sucked

Wally didn't bring his A-GAME.. But then again, neither did Joe, AV, Delonte..

Wally can't make open 3s if his life depended on it. I don't think this team really cares to move to the number 3 spot in the conference for some reason. :thumbdown

Guys believe me...this is not a way we should play and we should use Wally...Just look at 1st half how wally played, then he got benched for a long time and when he came back he was nowhere....Our D was terrible and i hope so that everything will be better today against Wizards...

Wally has brought pretty much everything other than a jumpshot. I don't know what was up with Delonte, But he did hit that big 3 pointer late in the 4th coming right off the bench.

This team his no idea how to utilize a PG, Lebron is the PG, and we will learn this time and time again. Unless we have a PG that is a 45% 3 point shooter and has a buttery jump shot then I don't even see the point of having one. Delonte brings up the ball and Lebron meets him on the perimeter to recieve the ball early in the shot clock anyway. How the hell is Delonte supposed to assert himself into the game if he is not handling the ball? That reminds me of one other thing, Delonte turns it over and has his pocket picked far too often. I can't even count how many times I have seen the ball popped out of his hands and he has only been here less than 10 games.

Last night - I completely agree with this statement. But I think a lot of this had to do with the Cavs being down 10+ almost the whole night. Lebron was trying to narrow the gap.

We are playing one game at HOME and other game on the ROAD...Wally still with his slump,he got bad playing time(entered in the game late in the 3rd qtr and played the worst 2nd half) and Nets killed us...
