CLE at NJ - Wed 7:30

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
These games annoy me to no end.
No way NJ should have been on the court with the Cavs...but for some reason the Nets play the Cavs tight and the Cavs play TIGHT against the Nets.

MB said something curious in his interview..he said it doesn't take chemistry to play defense ..and I AGREE with that..if you've played the game U know that defense doesn't depend on chemistry..it's a MIND-SET...
The thing that got me is when he said "you don't have to put away a team just show effort"..or something like that.
For the Cavs..they need to have the "PUT TEAMS AWAY" mentality because they play to the level of their opponent far too often..

Yes the loss was frustrating... but I do think the chemistry on D had a little to do with it. The new guys had never played in a game with Sasha before last night. I think it really showed in our defensive rotations in the first quarter. And it didn't help that the Nets made just about every shot they took.

Of course we all want the Cavs to win 50. I'm pissed that they probably won't now. But when you look at the big picture we are still fine. We still have a comfortable lead over the Raptors and the Magic were gonna be tough to catch anyway. We just need to get our guys healthy and in sync on the court. We still have 17 games left to fine tune things for the playoffs. As long as we hold onto the 4 seed while getting ready everything will be good.

This team his no idea how to utilize a PG, Lebron is the PG, and we will learn this time and time again. Unless we have a PG that is a 45% 3 point shooter and has a buttery jump shot then I don't even see the point of having one. Delonte brings up the ball and Lebron meets him on the perimeter to recieve the ball early in the shot clock anyway. How the hell is Delonte supposed to assert himself into the game if he is not handling the ball? That reminds me of one other thing, Delonte turns it over and has his pocket picked far too often. I can't even count how many times I have seen the ball popped out of his hands and he has only been here less than 10 games.

I did not see last nights game..thank god, but before last nights game he has had 3 double dribbling and 3 traveling turnovers and also 3 times he has gotten the ball stolen from him. Thats 9 turnovers in 9 games from dribbling alone.

When he was given the oppurtunit to run the pick and roll himself last night (a traditional PG role), West turned the ball over or got his shot blocked. He was just bad out there

Seems like on defense we're getting out on the perimeter and getting a hand up and in the face of the shooters, but maybe it's just a second too late, it seems like we're getting the defensive pressure outside. For some reason on the outside the shots just keep going in for almost all of our opponents. Inside is another story. Since Z's been out it's been dismal... NJ had their way in the paint last night.

I didn't get a chance to watch the game but if he had 5 turnovers in 19 minutes..you can't argue with that.

Just get healthy and figure out a rotation for the playoffs.....

I really could care less about the regular season anymore. We aren't catching Orlando for the 3 and it would take a massive collapse for Toronto to catch up (2-4 without Bosh and no timetable on his return) for the 4.

We are pretty much locked where we are. Just get everyone healthy and figure out how to hand out the minutes.
