Peppers in going to thrive in a Gregg Williams defense. He was asked to contain the edge and play within the defense at UM. Peppers was never given the opportunity to free range as he played LB in college, way out of position. I'm a big UM fan and was jumping for joy when we drafted this kid, and not just because he was from Michigan. This kid plays within the system he is asked to. Once he learns Williams defense, which shouldn't take long as he is football smart, Williams will give him the green light to "make plays", and all Brown's fan will be happy. Garrett up front wreaking havoc? Peppers given a green light? This defense is going to be special when it happens.

All I did was ask if he was going to get in on defense next game? I never saw why he didn't play last game. Thought it was bizarre, especially without an explanation.

It certainly looked like accidental helmet contact. Looked like he tried to lead with his shoulder. And honestly, I don't care if he's going for big hits like that in practice. It's not like he's going around all practice trying to decapitate people.

We can't tell the whole picture from that video shot but it was either a great throw by Kizer, perfect spiral and hit him perfectly, or he flung that up for him to get circumcised. Also could have just been Peppers reading the throw and making a quick route to the receiver.

If Peppers wins DROY, the only fruit (yes, it is actually a fruit) I am eating from that award to the NFL Draft are peppers.

I could see them switching the scrub game to the 3rd game with only 5 days of rest between the 2nd and 3rd and all of the cuts not having to be made until September 2nd.
