How did Peppers look at safety?

Do you think that our weak secondary has anything to do with how good Kizer looked? This is the only thing that worries me about all of the praise thus far.

Our secondary doesn't look weak. Ed Reynolds did get hurt but there's more depth there than people realize. Pryor, Peppers, McCourtney, Kindred, Nicua all were getting work. Haden, BBC, Taylor looked like they are being coached...I think the team believes that Howard Wilson will be back at some time this season. Could be sooner than later.

I'll say this though. Kessler and Brock clearly looked worse against the same guys. Kessler just doesn't have enough physical tools. Brock looks like a big WR who is converting to QB.

God dammit @Los216 ... You just made me optimistic about our QB situation.

I just hope that we do whatever is right for Kizer's long-term growth, even if it means starting a lesser QB for the first few games. In other words, even if he is the clear-cut best QB, I hope Hue and staff can hold off on playing him until he's truly "ready".
