Cleveland Browns 2018 Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Within the context of the trade, I think so. JAX has the gimpiest 1-2 punch at RB in the league. Fournette hardly ever plays and Yeldon has had his fair share of injury woes this year too.

Any reason as to why you don't just move Hyde to RB3? If Chubb or Duke get hurt, you're going to have to run out a practice squad guy.

Wondered that myself... This and this alone makes me think this was Dorsey's "fuck you" to the coaches for dragging their feet so long.

How often does RB1's and RB2's get hurt? And delegating Hyde, a veteran on a one year deal that has some entitlement to 3rd on the depth chart sounds like an even worse idea.

Rather Dorsey get straight to the point (which he did) and trade him instead of creating a playing time issue.

Did it before I posted.

Talked my gf into not dropping Fournette two weeks ago.

Picked up Chubb before telling her about the Hyde deal.

No regrets, no mercy.

Hyde your Chubb

They already have Hilliard up on the active roster for the last two weeks

No balls to turn this into a receiver or CB.

No balls, Dorsey.

Hyde was awful. Not dynamic, was getting severely outplayed by two legit NFL backs in Chubb and Johnson.

He was a very good goal line back, though. About the only thing they will miss from him.

Hyde was an absolute TD vulture

What the actual fuck? For a 5th????

Well, it took us nothing to acquire him because he was a free agent, so getting a 5th round pick out of the deal seems like a win. It's the Jags who gave up a 5th round pick when they could have just signed the guy in free agency.

Umm yeldon mayve have been "injured" all season but still putting up very good numbers. Im guessing this signals fournette is significantly more injured than jax is letting on.

It's like firing General McClellan and promoting Joeseph Hooker to take his place @The Human Q-Tip you aren't going to win either way.

:chuckle:

Maybe it's more like getting rid of McClellan and replacing him with Meade. He's not going to set the world on fire, but he's also less likely to do stupid shit.
