Cleveland Browns 2018 Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just checked, his PFF grade is 49 this season. 67th ranked guard in the NFL. He still sucks

This is the equivalent of Javel McGee talking shit as a Warrior... like ohhh bro you’re such an integral part of the success of that team. You sure showed us

I don't understand the "Chip on the shoulder" thing I've seen from him and even Crowell.

The idiot went to a better situation. In a perfect world? He's playing in the CFL not about to get a ring.

I’m just absolutely mind blown that Cam Erving can be a starting piece for a team that’s 8-1. A championship contender.

Wow.

Wow.

You can get away with a bad lineman or two when you've got all those ridiculous weapons on offense. Hill, Kelce, Hunt, and Watkins is just insane.

@natedagg ill let you use one condiment and I’ll let you put it in a bun. It will be a poop sandwich. I’ll even let you throw a dash of salt and pepper on it.

How the fuck does Anus Jones still have a job? He must have some serious dirt on Dorsey.

Blocked punt yesterday for the weekly ST momentum killing blunder. Does anyone have any advanced stats on our Shitty Teams?

So we traded Gordon and we might have to trade another pick if Gordon isn't active for a set amount of games. LMAO
Gordon's going to play well in New England and we just gave him up for nothing, essentially.
He’s going to blow up. I cannot wait since I have him on both my fantasy teams. Flash ⚡⚡⚡
5th is yikes

Dorsey:

Can we give John Dorsey a statue? He stole a 3rd round and a 5th round pick from Belichick. Shelton has been getting healthy scratches and now Gordon is suspended. Those are pre Dorsey Brown's type blunders. Of course the Tyrod trade was sort of a blunder as well...

While I was never high on Tyrod Taylor the player, finding a bridge quarterback to start the season was always a no-brainer move for the front office. Hindsight tells us that Baker was fairly close to ready to start as the season began, but he is a very rare rookie QB. Let's not forget all the hits Tyrod took as Haley and his zero back slaughter started out the year. Third round picks are valuable, but starting Baker off the most supportive way possible is a worthy investment I don't second guess.

For a fifth-round pick, I still might have rather kept Gordon and gotten 11 games of production this season. We might be preparing for a playoff game if we kept him and got 11 games out of him.

In 11 games, his 40 catches, 720 yards and 3 TD on just 68 targets is better than everyone on our team except for Jarvis Landry

Landry has 72 receptions, 827 yards and 3 TD in 14 games and on 132 targets.

Hindsight is 20/20 though, I don't mind giving Dorsey another bullet with the fifth-round pick. Chances are that pick won't hit, but it's another lottery ticket.

At the time, I was thinking in that way because I felt the return was so little for a player who could be dominant if he got things right off the field. Obviously, he didn't do that. So, moving forward, we get a lottery ticket and don't have to deal with Josh's baggage.

You'd rather have a player for 11 games, that will never play in the NFL again, plus another distraction, instead of a fifth round pick?

Seems logical.

5th round picks are lottery tickets, nothing more, nothing less..

Rather have a supposed lottery pick than a for sure fool who left the Pats one game before the playoffs. Guy is an idiot and people need to let go.

5ths I disagree on being lottery tickets, look at what Dorsey has done with his mid round selections.

There were some duds drafted in the fifth this past draft, but also some very good players. Maurice Hurst has been great for the Raiders. Jaylen Samuels has become a key for the Steelers, Shaquem Griffin, Marquez Valdez Scantling and Genard Avery all look like solid players. A Pro Bowl punter went right before the Browns selection: Michael Dickson of Seattle.

I'm stoked to see if these minor trades allow the Browns to move up in the draft if there is a specific late 1st or day two player they covet.
