Cleveland Browns Quarterback Position

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ehhh...

Mayfield runs into pressure a lot more than I would like.

Do we all remember Charlie Frye? He made a living running into blocked pass rushers. I think Mayfield has that same flaw.

I think Mayfield could be really good in the Haley offense. I dont think it's fair that he gets docked for mastering the Riley offense. Get him in an NFL playbook and he could be just as good in structure.

I just really wish he was better at making plays in a broken pocket. He isn't in the same stratosphere as Darnold or Jackson in broken pocket plays. He's barely at the same level as Rosen at that.

Huh?????

He’s the best of all of them when the pocket breaks down.

Literally just posted a half dozen videos of run into sacks by Mayfield.

Doesn't matter, I guess we need to watch the other tape. Or something...

I don't know, but I've about reached my limit by 2pm.

Absolutely not. Darnold and Jackson are so much better than him outside the pocket.

Jackson running?

How does that translate? Jackson is so inaccurate inside and outside the pocket I don’t know how there is an argument for him.

Mental capacity of Rosen vs. Mayfield is probably not the argument you want to make.

I dont know about this one. I think both are plenty smart but in different ways.

Mayfield knows when and where to go with the ball in the play. The problem is when that first option is taken from him, he can be stubborn or slow to move off of it.

Rosen can read and react from a defense the best in the draft, no doubt about it. I do think Rosen isn't the best with his timing and knowing when and where to deliver the ball.

Which is why Rosen is much more likely than Baker with this regime.

Thinking it's Darnold or Allen at this point with Rosen the darkhorse.

I think we have different definitions here.

When on the move, Mayfield is really good throwing, maybe the best in this class. But when the pocket chaos is happening, he struggles to get out or make throws with guys around him.

Whereas both Jackson and Darnold have an uncanny ability to know when to throw and break the pocket.

Andrew Miller just placed on the 10 day DL

This legitimately might be the worst day of my life
