Cleveland Indians @ Boston Red Sox August 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Fukudome starting to feel it maybe!? Nice night here and he had some really hard hit shots yesterday. Nice game for the offense - starting to get into a groove.

A blast is coming from LaPorta

GREAT win for the Tribe! I will take 2-2 in Fenway Park ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.

Masterson showing his new buddy Ubaldo how it's done in the AL. Can't wait to see him pitch tomorrow.

2-2 series split? Season series win? Uh yeah thank you I'll take it.

Could've been even better without two walk-offs. But the offense is alive and well my friends! Hopefully they can keep it up and extend it into the coming weeks and last 2 months!

2-2 is okay, but can't help thinking of what might have been. Obviously sweeping four in Fenway is too much to expect, but 3-1 was right there for the taking.

Now the Tribe has to go to Texas, and those fuckers have owned us ever since Charlie Hough was chuckin' knucklers.

We have Kearns though. Nothing to fear from Texas.

Hoping Brantley can play tomorrow. Hope Chis plays against the lefty as well. Two LH SP's this weekend.

Maybe KC will give us a big boost?

How does the rotation shake out? When is the suspension over for Carrasco? Do we skip him? Ubaldo, Carmona, and Tomlin this weekend. Who goes Tuesday against Detroit? Back to Masterson? I hope so. That's pitching on the 5th day.

Off topic but Jim Thome hit his 598th homer today, and in 7 days we start a series in Cleveland against the Twins.. Possibility he hits 600 here.

Idealy, Tribe are up big, and Thome get's #600 so all us Tribe fans can give him a standing ovation as big as if he still was wearing a Cleveland Indian uniform. As long as it doesn't have any part of us losing... I'm all for it.

I wonder what the ovation would be like. He still gets a lot of boos in Cleveland. I am sure it would be a large majority of cheers, but I don't think it would be as loud as some think.

Not sure who got to see LaPorta getting thrown out at the plate but I guffawed loudly when I saw it:

Like Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown at the last second :chuckles: .
