If any of the players discussed above (Grady, Lowe, Pie) are active for more than 100 MLB games this year, I'll eat my plain blue Indians hat.

I don't know, I'm not Antonetti nor am I privy to trade discussions. Wasn't he hinting at some huge trade or hard-to-guess trade that never ended up happening (surprise, surprise!) ?

The fact is they didn't get anybody, which renders all the people saying "Just wait, juuuuust wait!" moot. Not really arguable. I mean, they can adjust their stance now that they were proven wrong once and we got nobody, but it just makes them look bad.

What a huge signing. Slap hitting first basemen are so desirable. Thats why he got a whole 1 year and 3 million dollar deal. The guy hit over .300 one time in his entire career. But anything to make the Dolans look better, right, Mrs. Dolan?

This is a failure by Antonetti. And just because they didn't upgrade doesn't mean it wasn't premature to bash them in December.

What other team does the owner get bashed for a lack of trades? Dolan ponied up the money - what more do you want?

How could you not have bashed the Kerry Wood deal? We finally spend some money and it is on a guy who had 1 good year as a closer and has been hurt the rest of his entire career. With such limited money to spend, we blow 10 million on a fucking closer? If you didn't hate that deal, you are an idiot.
