Since he made that tweet the entire process got turned on it's head. The Marlins completely were ruled out, he went BACK to the Cardinals. That's called a shot in the dark prediction with no actual knowledge of the situation.

Dude didn't even know the Angels were involved until he started claiming them as a mystery team....even Heyman had the Angels in the process from the beginning of the week.

Dude just continues to prey on stupid people....

Unfortunately you're probably right. I think Trumbo spent a majority of his time in AAA playing LF so they will probably put him there.

You know what Im with you here... with the trade for Ubaldo I actually thought something was going to go down ::sigh:: I should learn never to trust any Cleveland front office again when they say anything. Also no thanks to the idiots on twitter who said we signed Pujols... Ugh when you first get up to read Indians sign Pujols being half asleep I almost fell for It. however I am just happy the redsox or yanks didn't get him or the big FA for once.

Indians GM Chris Antonetti left the Winter Meetings feeling as if he was just a couple text messages from making a deal, writes Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "It could happen very quickly," said Antonetti. "There are some things we could be relatively close on. As we've said a bunch of times, the timing may change and it will take weeks for it to happen."

I heard this all before... however. I feel a bit more confident about this... I am sure something will happen. Get hopes up for Votto? Not yet might be something small and dumb being hyped up. However Antonetti I feel more just to at least expect something to happen. I actually like this New GM and to be honest I am still not buying the talk. However at worst expect Derek Lee

I'm not getting my hopes up, but I'm still confident he's got something. He seems to be more aggressive & more of a risk taker than Shapiro & I think he might actually have something up his sleeve.
