Quick Facts

· The Cavaliers have won four straight games against the Jazz including three straight wins in Utah. It is their longest current winning streak against any WesternConference opponent.

· Over his last three games against the Jazz, LeBron James has averaged 37.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. In the last meeting between the two teams (Jan. 21, 2006 at Utah), James set a team record for points scored against Utah with 51 points on 19-35 shooting to go along with eight assists.

· Since February 2, the Cavaliers have allowed the fewest points per game in the NBA (83.4 per game) while allowing opponents to shoot just .411 from the field – good for second best in the league during that stretch.

· Over his last seven games, Sasha Pavlovic has averaged 15.0 points on .500 shooting, 2.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 26.0 minutes per game. He has scored in double figures in six of the seven games including two games of over 20 points. He ranks second in the NBA in bench points (81) since Feb. 1.

· In Sunday’s win over the Lakers, the Cavaliers out-shot the Lakers from the field (42.7 percent to 39.7 percent). Cleveland is 21-1 this season when out-shooting its opponent.

· The Cavaliers are 12-7 (.632) this season against Western Conference teams – the highest winning percentage of any Eastern team against the West.

· Over his last five games, Eric Snow has dished out 21 assists and committed just three turnovers (7.0 to 1.0 ratio). During that stretch (Feb. 2 – present), he ranks second in the league in assists-to-turnovers ratio.

:How are you guys preparing mentally for a showdown with the 2nd best team in the east, Cleveland Cavaliers?! Are you peeing in your pants?

andrei_kirilenko.jpg
:I cannot be defeated! I defeat all men!

icon_ter.gif
:How do you plan on defending LeBron James aka the bestest EVAAA?!!? Can it be done?

andrei_kirilenko.jpg
: He's not human! He's like a piece of iron!

icon_ter.gif
:Any comments on the heart of Larry Hughes to play at such a high level defensively with the 97 injuries and all?

andrei_kirilenko.jpg
:If he dies, he dies.

icon_ter.gif
:Wanna box?

andrei_kirilenko.jpg
: You will lose

icon_ter.gif
:You wouldn't go easy on me?

andrei_kirilenko.jpg
: I fight to win! For me! For me!

icon_ter.gif
:Oh. Well, changing gears then, any comment on the rumors that you've been taking steroids.

andrei_kirilenko.jpg
: I must break you.

icon_ter.gif
:Hey, your thoughts on former Utah Jazz great, John Ameachi coming out of the closet ?

andrei_kirilenko.jpg
:I would never let him touch AK47. I no like dem fruit loops.

icon_ter.gif
: OK, time for me to go. Back to you, Fred and Scott!!

:Thanks reporter icon!! The Cavs play the Jazz on Wednesday.. It should be a real rubber rim, from the 330..

scott_williams.jpg

"LB bangs another one home off a rubber rim right in Harpring's face."

scott_williams.jpg
"Hey Fred, did you know Harpring played his college ball at Georgia Tech? They're in the ACC, the same conference as my Tar Heels baby!!! Gotta love those ACC guys Fred."

That commentary craked me up.

I MUST BREAK YOU

Mother knows best...

cavs are 30-21 I believe, not 29-21.

anyone knows if boozer the looser will be at the game?? I dont think he's even been on the bench since leaving when utah plays the cavs.

lebron the tampon- pretty good?? this is a fun game, drink like 10 shots then make up dumb names for the cavs players. its alot funnier when your wasted.

I clicked on LePIPISSEXY.COM to see where it took me....

disappointingly......nowhere.

Very winnable game for us here... a shame Boozer won't be playing, but it's the March 17th game we're shooting for, not this one.

Give AK fits... he's always been bothered by LeBron, so continue this trend, along with his sloppy season, and we have a big spot to exploit.

Slow down Deron Williams... this is all about Hughes, and what he was brought in here for, so make him work on the offensive end, every possession.

And for Okur, we gotta keep the ball out of his hands. Have Gooden on him between the ball and Okur on the perimeter, and have AV slide over if he makes a run for the post... but the important thing is just denying him the ball.

I can see a win on the road... but I can also see disaster. Let's see what LeBron brings on the first nationally televised game.

Its a shame Boozer is out. They are now improved defensively. Drew would have had a field day out there.

Hopefully they will play some very inspired ball tonight and tomorrow for Z.
