Cleveland @ Utah - Feb 14th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I hate to be a homer, but I saw a foul there on Sasha as well.

Why did we not foul?! The differential was only 4 seconds between shot and game clock. After there was only 8.5 seconds left we should have fouled. DAMN IT!

Also, what the hell is up with Boozer's grill? Is he just now hitting puberty or is he on Barry Bonds training team now?

I certianly dont miss seeing those mountain zits.

I got pretty pissed during this game, I havent yelled at the tv this much the whole year.

THey got all the bounces, and williams couldnt miss. It was a game the basketball gods wanted the jazz to win.

Why the FVCK was andy down in the key when that duded was shooting threes. GOODNESS. GOODEN YOUR BRAIN IS EQUIVILANT TO A BRICK.!!!!

WTF MAN THIS IS SO MUCH BS.I havent been this pissed off over a game all year.Sasha clearly got fouled. You can't just stand there at halfcourt and do that.

O yea and mccleod and go screw himself,"O now that we review I can see thats a good no call."

YOU CANT JUST STAND THERE IN THE MIDDLE OF HALFCOURT AND FLOP AND MESS UP HIS SHOT.

Anyone who says this is being a homer,go f*** urself.

Boozer looks like he washes his face with kitchen grease.

he needs to get in touch with diddy so he can moisturize his situation and preserve his sexy.

Hughes will be in Cabo during All Star Weekend. I leave for Cabo Saturday morning - get in there at about 1:30 Cabo time. Staying at the Melia - the top resort there, with about 7 college friends. I will definitely be looking for Larry.

I'll get ya a photo for the banner Infante.

Rational thoughts on the Cavs loss:

-The Jazz are a great team who are very tough to beat at home, and we had no Z, so going in we knew it was gonna be a tough one.
-What can you honestly do about a guy like Deron Williams going off on us like he did? There is no answer for a guy that white-hot.
-LeBron wasted a lot of possessions playing "LeBron ball" and just standing around while others watched.
-That said, we played a good overall game, defense was pretty good except on Williams, we challenged shots and rebounded well without Z.
-Boozer has roids pimples
-Larry Hughes showed up, which was shocking.
-Great job in the final sequence to pull within one, only problem is we seemed to get a great sense of urgency that came too late in the game.
-Fouling/not fouling is a tough call down one with a four second differential, but we made the stop, problem was the rebound was tipped.
-Sasha got fouled. Normally, they do not call a foul like that in the waning seconds. But, the officials called TOUCH fouls the entire game, and not calling something on that is not being consistent. Can't be too upset about our effort, but we gotta get tomorrow's game.

Why didn't we foul? I thought we didn't have a To.

Sasha hit that shot with 28 seconds left. W/o a TO you can't bring the ball to midcourt. That wasa utterly stupid not to foul

Also what the **** happens to Lebron at halftime? He always seems to jack long 3's in the third before realizing he should attack the basket in the 4th.

Getting Sasha only 17 minutes and playing Wesley was also stupid. I hope Gibson ain't hurt too bad as I can't handle more Wesley

Went too long witrh Snow in the fourth. Should have got Sasha in sooner. Great effort by AV, rebounding monster. Still 7'3 is 7'3, Z was missed on the defensive end. Hughs great game, penetrating, hitting the J. Maybe we could double Williams? Gooden played well. Is McCleod a Utah fan? Pretty quick to concede the foul at the end. Is he forgetting who pays him? Looked like a foul to me....but overall a pretty good effort against a good team away.

They can't call a foul there.

BTW did the Cavs have a time-out? Couldn't Sasha have called a quick time out and still had a second and a half left (or whatever)? I know its quick thinking but just wondering...

Also curious about that TO situation... because if its the case that we didn't have a time out, why didn't MB call for an intentional foul. Not a good look trying to go the distance and get a quality shot with < 4 seconds left.

EDIT - According to CBS Sportsline we still had 2 left I believe. In which case it would have been really ideal if Pavs called a quick TO but at the moment I can't blame him at all since he barely had possesion with like a second left.

If we didn't have any timeouts left, then you have to foul. Otherwise, you have to go for the stop. We grab the rebound and call timeout and we got 3 seconds or so left. Plenty of time to "draw up a play." Wish we all could have seen the results of LeBron at the top of the key, dribble, dribble, jab-step, step-back 20-footer. Betcha we would have lost 99-98 even if we got the rebound.

And, being pissed about Sasha's "no call" doesn't make you a homer, it just doesn't make you very smart. That was a great no call - as much as I wanted a call to go our way.

Put the shoe on the other foot. Say we are winning by 1 and the exact same play happens to us........how pissed would you be if the refs bailed them out from 40'? That call MIGHT have been made if Sasha was another 10-15 feet closer.
