Collin's lack of assists is concerning, everything else is coming along nicely.

If you really wanted to put this to the test, take the last 15 drafts since Lebron, see if you can find good players 1-14, 15-27 and 27-60 in each of the drafts./QUOTE]

There is a massive difference between finding a "good" player, and finding a superstar. In addition,

1) I'm really not in favor of a 15 year rebuilding plan;

2) I'm also not in favor of a rebuilding plan that requires your team to draft players as if it could see 7 years into the future, and know exactly which players will be unexpected stars, and which will flop.

It’s not really surprising. This is who he’s been since high school. You have to have a play maker with him to be successful.

It’s probably why he’ll be more of a 6th man, and I think that’s perfectly fine being an 8th pick.

I actually think Sexton will be more effective once they allow him to play 36-38 minutes a game. Love and Zizic really looks to allow Sexton to push the ball in transition, which puts alot of pressure on opposing teams defenses. Sexton never seems to get tired either. If he was a six man I don't think you take advantage of that and most teams are usually equipped to deal with a faster pace second unit.

I think we should be looking to add a good half court passer to compliment Sexton. Cedi might be that guy and it's ashame that we don't give him more opportunities to run the offense. Clarkson is basically the opposite kind of player we should want in a guard rotation with Sexton. Delly and Knight are alright but if we can find upgrades to both I think we will have a much more effective offense.

This guy ain’t got it. You can throw whatever numbers or analysis you want at me. He doesn’t pass the eye test. Can’t tell you exactly what it is.. Maybe his size, maybe his BBall IQ, maybe his offensive game.. He’s not your starting PG going forward. I don’t see it..

The Cavs are going to have to make a decision, especially if they don’t get 1 overall. Sure you could live with RJ and Collin, but ideally one should go. Maybe you can bring Collin off the bench in a Beverly role. But he’s not a star player imo

That was the game that finally convinced you? That's when you come to conclusion?

You are drunk Bill.

If they ended up drafting Ja Morant it would solve the lack of assists problem. Sexton and Morant would an undersized back court but it may work. The Cavs may end up hurting on the defensive effort.

I get that he doesn't get assists, but the team as a whole is assisting just fine and he is not a ball stopper. I don't see the problem at all. There are plenty of scoring pg's in the league and this team has enough supplemental playmaking to make up for Collin's weakness.

Him pushing the pace and getting those outlet's from Love is really helping the offense. He has made plenty of clutch plays as well. I don't know. I understand people want more assists from him, but he is no black hole, which is a totally different issue that a guy like JC has. Collin doesn't

I think it is way to early to tell with Sexton. He is has looked better as the season has gone on, and with Love back he has shown he can be a NBA starter. He is only 19, give him another offseason, a good head coach and find a SG that can be more of a playmaker and I think he will be fine. He is not a traditional PG who is going to get assist. His game is push the floor, cut, and make open shots. If he can excel at that he has a place as a starter in the NBA.

Only Cavs fans would be so down on a guy while he is making progress and looking like a player.

Expectations at #8 were really high
