Conspiracy Theories / Wild Predictions

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't know, it's missing the not so subtle racist overtones.
I want to give you shit for this, and I'll get knocked by some allies, but man is there a fine line between racism and conservatism.

I think the same of the left, but.. It's just uncomfortable connecting some of these dots. Idk whether to think both parties are different versions of racism articulated carefully and spun to a degree, or if they both mean well and can easily be taken the wrong way by the wrong person.

A lot of people complained greatly when he was given that position and said he should be removed. I imagine some of them will nevertheless find a way to spin removing him as some kind of negative as well.

The Trump team is out there spinning it enough already.

I'm not sure what you mean, but I haven't heard anything from the Trump Administration as to why they did it. And if they said "why", I'm not really sure why "spin" even matters. They took an action that should be popular with just about everyone.

I'm not sure what shit could've been given for that statement. Birtherism was the questioning of our first black president's heritage. And it was based on the grounds that he was black. Why else would people think he's a Muslim from Kenya? And the people who ran with it the hardest were clearly racists. No other major politician has faced such scrutiny that I'm aware of. The only person that's come close as far as I know is Ted Cruz, but that's only because WE KNOW he was born in Canada.

As Q-Tip and you have stated and I will agree, it's tough to have shitty people on your side. Because then a poster can come in here, show what is essentially someone else acting as your strawman, knock him down, and claim victory. LOOK! He's stupid and you are on his side so YOU'RE STUPID!

As far as I see it, both sides are well-meaning and have the best interests of the country at heart. But we vehemently disagree on those terms. There are plenty of liberal racists and well-meaning liberals who say and do racist shit whether they are really aware or not. I'd argue it happens on a wider scale with conservatives, but the kicker tends to be that liberals will be allies trying to make a show of their inclusiveness while undermining the progress of minorities.

Not to paint a broad brush on people here, but with a lot of older conservatives they give off this feel like racism ended with the Civil Rights Movement. And now that everyone is equal the hubbub over race relations is nonsense complaints. America is the land of the free and we have opportunity here so your failure to escape poverty is your problem. They tend to see the issue as black and white, as if racism can always be easily spotted, and anyone who decries it these days is just looking for something to complain about. But now I'm not sure what thread I should be in...

Why should people like this? Because Rick Perry seems marginally less destructive and overtly bigoted?

Cool. Pumped.

Well b.om has been remarkably pro islam and i think his half brother is from Kenya. I dont think this is anything about bigotry, but i wasnt around for that conspiracy.

Im gonna hold off on expaninding on the general sentiment i presented in the previous post until Im at a keyboard, bc it just gets dicey. But conservatism is sort of difficult to separate from white, and new leftism is sort of difficult to deparate from tearing down whats preceded, which is white male i guess.

Theres parts of both that have nothing to do with tribalism on the surface, but if you look closer.. Idk. And idk if the astroturf is to appeal to tribalism, or if the astroturf is the policy around it.

The path to hell is paved with good intentions

The Secretary of Energy probably should be on the National Security Council, not sure what the conspiracy or wild prediction is on this one.

As I indicated in the original post, it is clear that the administration's plan to divert attention from the Russia investigation(s) is to attack Susan Rice.

It is much more difficult to do this if you have seated the primary administration political operative in the NSC for the first time in history and have already been caught executing the 'Nunez maneuver' through the NSC staff.

It actually is a smart move. The spin posted above illustrates that the Rice strategy is in full effect. Doesn't change the underlying B.S., but makes the strategic spin more believable for those open to it.

You mean the ever-dwindling numbers of people who actually believe anything Trump says?

Dude is burning through credibility way too fast; even amongst Republicans. At the earliest he should be at this point in late 2018.

Victoria from Victoria's Secret is color blind. That is why she is printing the words PINK in a non pink color on a non pink pant and men who can see color get confused trying to find out where the Pink is.
COME ON !!! PINK IS NOT PINK - IT IS BLACK !!! Atleast say BLACK, make the pant pink or print the pink in PINK

@David - Stop jerking of to the girl's photo and answer my question !
