That's exactly what I've been saying all along. The difference is that you guys have been assuming that investigation into the general topic of Russian involvement in American politics is itself evidence of Trump colluding with the Russians. Literally the only thing that the FBI/CIA have said in terms of evidence of collusion is that they haven't yet found any.

I'm perfectly happy to -- as you say -- ignore this story unless and until evidence of collusion is produced. Because until that point, there is no story.

Actually not true at all. I've never made the claim as if I KNOW what has happened, only that it matters what happened and pointing at the smoke billowing from the White House. I've stated that my opinion is that it seems more likely than not that there is something here to the Russia connections, but you're putting words in my mouth (again... even though you hate when others do that to you).

And that there is an ongoing investigation. See, you wanna point fingers at us as if we're jumping to conclusions while you imply that nothing has been or will be found. If you wanna call out people's biases, don't do the same.

Even if direct collusion didn't happen or isn't proven, this IS a story and that's the point I'm making. There have been several connections from Trump's administration to Russia that have been exposed and then lied about. The investigations themselves have become stories with the behavior of Nunes and Chaffetz. To say there is no story is laughable, even if Trump is proven completely clean on this. Flynn itself is still a story because of the lies covering up what they knew and how they handled his firing.

Again, I don't wanna get into a big dismissive back and forth about the details that have come out because it feels like a frustrating waste of time and we're both waiting to see what happens.

These were multiple posters on this board on Nov. 8th.
They were either easily deceived... or they were purposely spreading bad information. That's a fine line
But one thing seems clear...if you want voters to have an accurate snapshot of this country's politics, don't recommend political threads on RCF.

Seems to me this is just a collection of people giving opinions, many of which aren't predictions so much as odds. That's not fake news. If it was, then Vegas declaring a favorite, then that favorite losing would have to be considered fake news.

In fact, I would venture to guess you have no idea what fake news means.
