Dude I thought he was doubtful for the rest of the year

Do we really think it was coincidental that Comeback left and Dean hasn’t been heard from since ?
I think CK was given a mandatory vacay? But even after he does his time he might want to avoid this place.

I honestly hope Wade is okay, and I hope there's not something deeper going on that we don't know about.

You think it’s drugs ?

Oof we need him more for Orlando than we would have for INdiana.

He makes the team a lot better rebounding wise and defensively. Hope he can make it back

After catching up on Luke Travers and the season he just put in, I could see Wade moved in a package this off-season. Travers has improved dramatically this season playing with Delly. He started at power forward, which cut back on his offensive perimeter play but made him an offensive finisher on offense rather than a fourth option glue player. The praise for Travers defense is sky high, he is impacting winning as a major stopper. At the same time his three point percentages dropped despite his increases going up. He addressed the shy trigger, he just needs an uptick in makes.

I'll give Wade credit: he developed into a solid forward defensive piece of the bench. He is a more accurate three point shooter than Travers right now. I don't believe he is starting material because of his many deficiencies on offense, and obviously the guy is made of glass. It might be time to move on to the guy who is five years younger and plays the same position.

The best ability is availability, right?

Unfortunately, we have to speculate because we don't know the exact injury, so I'm starting to wonder if it is an "injury" in the classic sense at all. Could be an illness, or maybe something congenital like a heart issues. Most players don't really care about disclosing actual injuries, so the silence on this suggests something else.

Obviously, this is all just speaking out of my ass.

Glass of the brain, glass of the heart, glass of the knee or back... It's all glass.

If we had mid-season Dean, I'd think Orlando was a pretty sure win for us. (Mid-season everyone else would be nice too. :chuckle:)

As it stands today, I worry about foul trouble meaning we might need MULTIPLE of Niang, Morris, TT, and Damian Jones to seriously contribute at some point in the series.

We'll see! Glad the team gets a chance to rest; maybe Dean's knee will recover...
