Did anybody read the 19 year old's story about Kobe choking her and being forceful? Is any of it actually true? Wasn't proved. Fans celebrated the day he got off and everyday after.

It’s not that likely we will ever know what truly happened. The only way a significant amount of evidence comes to light is if (1) these claims make it through discovery and to trial and (2) both sides litigate it as vigorously as possible.

Even then, the U.S. runs on an adversarial legal system, and as a lawyer I can tell you that part of litigation strategy is to obfuscate, confuse, and overstate facts to the end of strengthening your position. Your goal is to win, and truth telling is a priority only insofar as it’s consistent with winning. Other countries run on an “inquisitorial” model in which both sides, managed by the judge, work to uncover the truth. Not so here.

Long story short, I’m skeptical we’ll ever know what “really happened.” More likely these claims settle, the settlement agreements are kept confidential, and we’re all left to wonder.

I think he's a horny creep, no doubt. He's a young handsome star QB and I imagine some or half of those 40 different massage therapists massaged his dong in a consensual act.

Why not keep the same few therapists as a rotation anyways?

To me, Watson is more creep than criminal. But he is a big big creep.

The one part that caught my eye was he went through 50+ massage therapist. That paired with the 22 accusing him, just makes me think there was something more than just finding someone willing to do this. He might have liked different women (or strangers) doing it or even he like the fact that they weren't really doing it willingly. Which is why I could see it as a on going problem if any of that is the case for him.

Massage places that do that kind of stuff seem to get shut down enough that you got to think there are people that are willing to do it and it's not that hard to find. Watson not being able to find someone or a group to willingly make him a regular customer just seems fishy to me.

Here's an example of stupid:

You're getting a massage from a masseuse you're vibing with through nice conversation. You get frothed up and start remembering all those porn videos you watched that take places at massage joints and against better judgment, you ask, "so...do you provide any 'specials'?" She says no/gets offended. You apologize and get douche chills for the rest of your life when this event pops in your head.

Here's an example of being predatory:

You seek out inexperienced masseuses because they are uncertain about professional boundaries and have less resources to go after you. You take them to unfamiliar environments so you control all the variables. You wear a hand towel on your ass instead of an appropriate towel so it can "accidentally" fall off. You threaten their career when they rebuke your attempts at sexual favors. You make this "mistake" in judgment 20+ times. I could go on, but you get the picture.

Watson is scum. The NFL is scum. So it's a good match. I was already on the outs because I simply cannot condone any sport that leaves 99% of it's participants with degenerative brain disease. I don't care how rich they get. it's reprehensible. I'm just glad youth football participation is plummeting because the sport is extremely harmful to it's participants.
