Deshaun Watson: Third Highest Paid QB in the AFC North (OUT for 2023)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Who knows what adjustments the Browns defense may have made at halftime. They forced a punt to start the half and were on their way to making it a 1 score game before the first pick 6.

Fast forward 10 game minutes later and the next time Stroud touched the ball it was at midfield now up 24 points.
That’s the graspiest of straws

They were lost and generating literally 0 pressure

Unless the adjustment was a Time Machine that went back before Myles’ injury that changed his entire season this is just such a stretch

Flacco didn’t play well, the defense full sold

and if you watched you know when that happened
I was at the game I got a good look!

I watched the defense just absolutely sell the season for an entire half. To me there is no doubt in my mind that Stroud could name his score. The defense was gutless and lost, they played scared and slow. The 70+ yard touchdown pass where there wasn’t even an ATTEMPT at a tackle tells me all I need to know about the defense’s chances in that game

Flacco sucked, but it speaks volumes on just how bad the defense was that he was FAR from the biggest issue. The defense can’t give up 24 points and 300 yards in a half and somehow gain trust in the second half. They were cowards and they played like it. They would have folded in that second half.

Just to be 100% clear, this is the defense people think isn’t majority responsible for the loss?:

The same defense that hit Stroud ONCE the entire game isn’t the vast majority of the blame? Cmon guys, they gave up 24 in a HALF and it’s somehow on the QB for not scoring more? I’d give Watson the exact same pass. I’d give Mahomes the exact same pass. The defense played like a bottom 1 unit

Biggest reason I want Flacco back on this team as a QB honestly is that he’s white, and I just really fucking identify with that.
Sometimes I like to read this forum from the perspective of a person who just stumbled onto this place for the first time. Its a thrilling exercise.

Dunno what to tell you man. Clearly you want to think the game was over and Stroud "could name his score" even though the Browns were on their way to cutting the score to 4 or 7 points late into the 3rd quarter. I guess that's grasping for straws.

Flacco was playing fine. I believe he was 20-24 for 222 yards before the first pick 6. If he doesn't heave that ball up for grabs who knows what happens. But he single handedly ended any chances the Browns had left in that game.

Flacco was pretty good minus the pick sixes

Whenever you have to use "first" before "pick six", you know things did not go well.

"Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?"

Are you convinced Watson is putting everything he has into being a franchise QB ?

Or

Do you think he’s just coasting and has kinda checked out and it’s not really a big deal to him ?

Check his story now on IG….

Working out hard…
I feel like somebody is waiting backstage ready to deliver a chair shot depending on how people proceed with their response here.
