Only knock, a very small one, stop clapping for the ball in a demonstrative manner when your teammates get rebounds and attempt to bring the ball up. I know Mitchell doesn’t care anymore because he wants the ball and don’t trust them, but his leadership style is a little off. Being a couch body language interpreter it’s a little demeaning and emasculating to have to do exactly what a man tells you to do when he says do it in front of the entire crowd.

This seems a little armchair psychology/back seat driver-ish

I think you’re deeping it a little more than necessary

We haven't seen what Mitchell has done these last 2 games from a guard since Allen Iverson.

I'm assuming you knew this, and sorry if posted already, but yeah his 89 points in games 6 and 7 is second only to AI who put up just one more point in 2001.

On only one and a half legs...

He's a gd hero, and it seems like people don't even know he's hobbled, tho DM wouldn't have it any other way.

Also largest comeback in a game 7 since 1997.

Hopefully this gives everyone the boost of confidence they so desperately needed.

Would’ve been real easy for Donovan to say hey I didn’t sign up to go 7 games with Orlando and used his knee as an excuse to get JB out of here and himself too, especially facing Boston the next round. Mobley can’t get a bucket, garland can’t even bring it up the court, role players haven’t given much. I’ve been critical of him for two years, mostly because I just don’t like how he plays, I promise that doesn’t matter to me right now. That heart he has shown this series is what Cleveland is all about. Thank you Donovan for representing the Cavs

He deserves better than this
Why ? It’s not like he brought it the entire series….

Guy stepped up, as he’s supposed to as the leader of the team… Players like him are paid to win games like this…

Now he needs to take it to another level going forward.

Legacies are always on the line….

I'm worried about Donovan's knee. JBB needs to control his minutes properly.

My assumption is his knee is inflammation related and not structural. Fewer minutes won’t really matter, it is just pain tolerance on Mitchell’s part.

Give his age (27) and the fact we want to max extend him, it would make little sense to be playing him, with an injury that had long term risk.

Don has even said it’s just a matter of him gutting it out now and rehabbing this summer.
