I'm so glad somebody brought this up. Bill Simmons has proved over and over again this season that he has no credibility when it coms to Durant, who he gets to do exclusive interviews with. He constantly repeats Durant's bullshit pr line about how he wanted to leave to learn to play the right way and explore a new city. He gives him none of the criticism he gave LeBron for his Miami move. And worst of all, he goes out of his way to attack Westbrook in ways that seem to be written by Durant's camp. First he said that Westbrook probably wasn't going to stay and then when Westbrook signed his extension, Simmons started drumming up the narrative that Westbrook is hard to play with and makes his teammates worse. As an example, in an article Simmons wrote about Chris Paul he mentioned Westbrook being a ball hog four times - that's four times in an article that had nothing to do with Westbrook.

I've been supporting the Cavs when Lebron left and stayed on here when he came back. I wouldn't say I'm a hater now as he and kyrie are our (basketball fans) defense from the shit storm coming from GS. And usually I'd know the lineup but damn these playoffs have been so boring no point in watching some series

Fuck Zaza, he can't live this one down. What he did is unacceptable, it should warrant a flagrant, it should have been 2 shots and the ball, Spurs lost by 2, and they got fucked on countless things now.

Dirty play because why? You never see this injury happen as easy as it did. Players play every night, and you rarely if ever see player Y landing in player X landing zone. Zaza contested, and still walked into the zone aiming for the ankle which is a 50/50 chance of hurting anybody on a rolled ankle.

I hope karma comes back around.

The problem is SO WHAT IF HE GETS A F1. SO WHAT IF HE GETS SUSPENDED FOR A GAME. In terms of game theory, it is definitively the right play. And that's what happened in the 80s and some of the 90s. You had NHL type GOONS get in there and mix things up. And if you lost them because they took too many people out, so be it. You were still ahead for having done it.

Hoping karma corrects what is clearly a huge imbalance in the rules is insufficient. I don't know what needs to happen to remove this play from the league but it needs to happen ASAP. The last thing the league wants is stars out, sidelined by goons. And given the increasing importance placed on playoff results, it will only increase in frequency.
