Dream Team 4: Golden State Warriors

Stick somebody on Klay and don’t give him an inch no matter what. Deny him in the corners. Make them force the issue to get him involved.

Make KD beat you. He won’t. Not without Steph and Klay supporting him.

If Curry is out, I’d rather play Golden State than the Rockets, but I also don’t see a Curry-less team getting by Houston.

Looks exactly like what happened to KD last year at this time. But less worse. Curry will be fine.

if curry is out and jimmy butler can come back and not suck that could be interesting. i'd also like to see that utah death lineup go up against a curry-less warriors.

but knowing the warriors luck they'll draw san antonio after kawhi publicly states he's never playing for the organization again, or denver right after jokic tears his achilles

Curry will come back, so just don't count on him missing the playoffs.
Medical view: Grade 1 MCL injuries are minor, they only take a few days to heal. Grade 2 injuries, however, can take up to four weeks. Grade 3 injuries are the most severe and have the longest recovery time. It typically takes eight weeks or more for these types of injuries to heal. So it's two months AT WORST. He would be ready to go against the Rockets in a hypothetical CF.

Probably but Houston just seems like they have a more realistic chance day by day.
I’d say the same but Chris Paul is due for his annual out for season broken wrist coming up...

This reminds me of the injury he suffered in the first round in 2016. He had a grade 1 MCL sprain and came back two weeks later to score 40 points against the Blazers.

All these bumps and bruises are doing is allowing some key Warriors to rest... The team should collectively "heal" by playoff time. Unlike the 73 win season, they will be the opposite of "burnt out".

Whatever the case may be. GS doesn’t have an easy 12-0 route to the playoff this year. Hopefully most of the series get extended out .

They may be well rested going in to the playoffs but I also can see a couple of their series going the distance. Maybe a vintage Green moments and a few techs .

they don't have an easy route at the moment but there's still plenty of time for every tough western team to conveniently lose their most important player

The odds are just the same GS loosing an important player as well or am I missing something here ?
