Defensively he might struggle with really quick guards like Beal for example.. but offensively he will take advantage of sloppy defenders ( like Hood for example) .

I also think his numbers might have been influenced by Morant. It's a lot easier to stroke a catch and shoot three if you get it in the pocket.. Of our guards Delly seems to be the only one who understands that..

That kind of highlights his core issue; he shouldn't have to guard quicker SG's - except on switches - because he's a natural SF. But he currently lacks the strength to guard stronger NBA 3's.

Honestly think he needs to put on 20 pounds over 2-3 years to reach his potential. If he does get stronger...he could be a full-time 3, and a pretty good one.

Do you think he could guard LeBron?

I have more confidence in a guy like Windler developing into a valuable wing than Marquese Chriss.

Windler appears to have really strong court awareness. He knows how to use screens properly. We've seen a few projects on the roster recently like Chriss and Preston who tease you with their size and athleticism but don't really know how to play the game.

Morant played for Murray State, Windler for Belmont.

I may have misunderstood your statement, but I don’t see how he impacted his numbers.

Reminds me more of a Illyasova/good Morris brother with just a dash of Peja in there.

I have no idea how he makes half of his threes, but his rebounding is legit and his quickness coming off screens is evident. If he maintains/improves his ability to shoot and can be a passable NBA defender, he'll have a very long and successful NBA career.

Which Morris brother is good? Markieff is a better defender/rebounder but Marcus has more offensive skill.

You are right.. my own confusion. Please ignore my post

Everyone is bringing up Windler comps. I think NBA player comps are lazy, and each player makes his own case. But hey, to add to the fun, he kinda reminds me of Chase Budinger, if Chase Budinger was good at basketball.
Don’t look now, guys. We’re running out of white wings to compare him to...

Hmm. Mike Miller. Let’s go with young Mike Miller.

Next?

There is still a no ginger rule in effect.

I'm rooting for this guy. I really like him. He's obviously a good shooter but I feel like he is irked when people label him just a shooter. Feels like he wants to be a complete basketball player. He also hits off balance shots.

Comparison: Better rebounding Hedo Turkaglue
