Who do you think are some good players/breakout potential not ranked very high?

I'm pretty big on Anthony Randolph, currently ranked 72nd by yahoo. If he gets starter minutes as projected, I wouldn't be surprised if he's an 18/10, 2 block guy.

I've heard good things about this Chris Paul guy. :)

I predict crickets chirping in this thread until after the uber-competitive Official RCF Draft.

I'll give ya 1 guy right now. JJ Hickson.

Look for Cleveland to give him plenty of burn to improve his trade potential come February.

What he said.

But I've never been that type of guy. I'll share my "steals," even if I risk my fierce competitors getting them first. I'll just have to hope they don't.

- Eddy Curry: 20, 10 guy waiting to happen. Add in D'antoni? Fuhgeddaboudit!

- Chris Andersen: New deal, same coke habits. Definitely worth a late third round pick, possibly late second depending on his role this year.

- Sasha Pavlovic: I've heard some people say he'll get lost in the mix with all of those dynamite wings in Minnesota, but his high BBIQ should catapult him to the front. Easy 15-4-4 guy.

- Tracy McGrady: I take him with my first round pick every year and it has yet to fail me.

- Yi Jianlian: Now I know what you're thinking--"why would I want a big that bangs around and puts his body on the line every night?" And I agree for the most part, but Yi should get you 11-12 boards a night, so he's well worth the risk.

- Vernon Hamilton: Undrafted in most leagues, Hamilton could make an NBA roster depending on his D-League stints this year. He might not be worth a mid-round pick, but target him with your next to last pick.

- Kenny Thomas: Every year I target a guy who looks like he's ready for retirement, but BAM, averages double digit points and rebounds for the season. With a young core in Sacramento, there's no reason to not believe that that player might not be named Kenny Thomas.

Hope I helped!

I know you were joking about TMAC, but I picked him up with my 2nd last picks in both leagues and put him in my IR. Low risk, high reward if he comes back and produces even half of what he did at his prime.

You're username describes you perfectly.

So does yours. I'm not joking though, think about it. He is in the same rating position as Ronnie Turiaf, so you aren't going to get anyone spectacular at that time anyway. I put him on my injury reserve list (in both leagues I'm in) and am waiting for the waivers to clear on James Harden and Al Thorton. Both guys I expect to do better than Turiaf. I wouldn't take him anywhere before the 12th/13th pick, but if he pans out he'll be the steal of the draft(s). I'm not expecting him to, so like I said before: low risk, high reward.

Is it bad that I believed you all the way until i hit 'TMac every year in the first round', or worse that I'm still not sure if you were joking about half of these or not. I guess that will always be the dilemma when talking about sleepers though. I agree half of those could pan out other then kenny thomas for the most part.

Are you kidding me? Yi Jianlian getting TEN boards a game? That's like saying Kinsey getting TEN assists a game!

Seriously dude, he's not gonna give his picks. Camakazee's WAY too good for that .

Ever hear of this LeBron dude? I think hes going to have a break out year and average 29 8 and 8. :chuckles:

Yes because as soon as you read "sasha pavs and high bbiq", it should have been the biggest giveaway ever.

I'm gonna have to say Blair might be a steal.

Zach Randolph - 20/10 guy last year, wouldn't doubt if he does it again. Big problem though...he's bound to do stupid shit and get suspended for games.

Pssst, Wilson Chandler is a great lower round draft pick. Puts up Matrix-lite numbers in D'Antoni systems, and run much the same way Matrix was. I'd say he has a breakout year.

I said too much.

On a serious note, Channing Frye

Bound to increase his numbers playing in Phoenix, they are going back to run and gun style and he is now the starting Center.
