A first rounder doesn`t seem possible for Korver, so Furkan + second rounder would be really good. Furkan has great offensive potential, defense sucks unfortunately. Poor mans Jamal Crawford as ceiling for little money would be ok I think.

But the Cavs will wait to get maybe a late first rounder from a contender I think.

I think the Cavs have a pretty good shot at getting a first actually.

Maybe a really protected first that doesn’t have a realistic chance of conveying.

No, I think we are probably going to get a late first that is likely to convey in the 2019 draft. Milwaukee is the team to watch. Their need for shooting is only more pronounced as they finally look ready to make "the leap". Their pick is pretty likely to end up 24-30. They have no room to add more young projects to that roster. And their coach is the guy that based his entire offense in Atlanta around Korver's ability to play off the ball.

Makes a lot of sense. But loves Korver

So with this Korver story “breaking” that he requested a trade and the FO “refused” sounds fishy. So, our perennial all-star, movie-star, championship winning, most important shot, point guard without a no-trade clause asked for a trade and gets one but Kyle fucking Korver who has one fucking job to do on this team, and failed to do so when it mattered, requests a trade, the Cavs refuse? Either this is BS or no-one wanted him and are happy we are stuck with him. However, if this is true, and we had that option, why not? I would take 2 to 4 2nd rounders for him since there are always teams that don’t want to go over the cap with guaranteed 1st round money and trade out of it. Griffin was like Opra “You get a 2nd, and you get a 2nd, etc.”

Something fishy.

It’s all fishy and it’s all the vets stirring g trouble. Not even sure it’s Korver. I am sure Korver was told we are going to try to be competitive and if we aren’t by the break or the deadline we will deal you a good hand

As far as the lack of competitiveness of this team Korver is far from blameless. I love the guy, but he has sucked balls so far this year- at least in the games I've watched. Bricking shots, making horrible sloppy turnovers, and still a net defensive liability. He's a class act but he's seriously seemed to decline as a player. We can only hope someone sees him as an asset worth a decent pick.

I think in a structured system that runs alot of action to get everyone involved or a team with players with gravity, Korver is a much better player. For this team though, we have to run a ton of action to get him he shot which is out of the ordinary scheme so teams know the ball is going to Korver. Also we have no players that have any gravity so a two man game is basically off the table. Korver also has a hard time making a quick pass when he doesn't have a shot, he get locked up by the defender.

You could see this issue last year when LeBron was the only player with gravity. LeBron had to really work to get Korver an open shot. There wasn't enough action or passing in the teams offense to get Korver his shot naturally. Once Kyrie was gone, the drive and kick offense was gone for the most part and the passing around the perimeter left too. I thought Korver should have been traded in the off-season. I was never a fan of the trade in the first place. I'm not sure he was ever really a fit for this team.

Kind of feel like Kyle has sulked this year a bit. The whole "I was promised a trade if Lebron didn't re-sign" thing.. well, if you wanted insurance if Lebron left, you could have taken a 1 year deal and been a free agent this last offseason.. but having guaranteed money is nice, isn't it, Kyle?

Whatever, hope the Cavs get something for him. The lingering foot injury is concerning from a trade value perspective anyway.

Would move the vets ASAP before injuries occur. If they could move Korver now then move him

Figured something was up today when he did not practice with a "sore foot". Good move for him. Have nothing against the man, he is a class act all the way.

Nothing agaisnt him either. He is near the end of his career and wants another title shot. Good luck. Just hoping g to get a decent asset back

I would take Delly and a first for Korver,,then you can deal Hill. I think the cavs and philly have exchanged lists that would be acceptable for Korver...Cavs probably want Zhaire or Shamet or a first rounder (with salary filler of course),,,Philly probably counters with Korky/Bolden and a second rounder or two.
There has to be a sticking point with Philly or this thing would have been done yesterday.
