Farewell to Jarrett Jack

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: Jarrett Jack

Good example of your typical NBA contract year player (lots of them every year, close to home ex? Earl Clark). The fact that he has already played on six teams since his career began should show you just how fast the teams he plays for realize his play contributes nothing to the bottom line.

Throw in Mike Brown's role shuffles and "offense" and you have a career worst year.

"His play contributes nothing"....? Ask Golden State if his play contributed something last year. I just don't see how you can go from being a pretty good shooter to being a terrible shooter this year.

maybe because we are a terrible team

Re: Jarrett Jack

Hope to see a lot more games like tonight. Bump up that trade value!

Re: Jarrett Jack

And Jack wants to play good NOW lol

Re: Jarrett Jack

hopefully this late surge boosts his trade value this summer

Re: Jarrett Jack

Well Finally we can give Jack some props for tonight's game in New York 31 pts 10 assists

Re: Jarrett Jack

Great game to catch. The Cavs are a funny team. They are tank masters at this point. Stay in games so that fans do not get upset, and win inconsequential games for us but spoil other team's hopes.

Had he played at all this well when Kyrie was in? And we were healthy? I mean what the fuck.

I know.... So many things dominoed from the beginning of the season til now. It's insane if you look back. Brown was too slow to realize Bynum being a starter dragged down the offense. He refused to have offensive practice until like 6 weeks into the season and their offense plummeted. Bad team chemistry and tuning out Mike Brown spiraled out of control and he did lose the team. The bottom dropped and Bam Chris Grant is fired! But there was something underlying going on about a week or so before the firing with the bench. I don't know about you, there was a time I wouldn't even watch the starters but when Delly/DIon came in Oh Yeah! They were exciting to watch and played like they gave a damn. Kyrie took a note from the bench and seen a Dion having fun out there and wanted to be out there with them. He began to run after practice so he could kick up the pace, wanted those rebounds to improve his and the team's game, made efforts to boost up the assists and good things started to happen. Kyrie had even hinted he really liked playing with the bench players. That pace was more his style. And then All Stars was great for him and Dion. Improvements started to happen intermittedly but Mike Brown again being stubborn on limiting Dion's minutes and giving an unproductive Jack who should be a bench player anyways all the minute. More losses and Wham! The Injury bug took over. It was the nuclear Bomb that killed them in the end. But guys like Dion, Delly, Hawes, Jack Tristan aren't going to take a dive to tank. They will play hard to the bitter end. Sorry I think I wrote a book!

Re: Jarrett Jack

It could be March Madness has gotten to him and maybe Jack though he was playing in the sweet sixteen? But today he woke up and realized this team isn't good enough for the NIT ;)

Re: Jarrett Jack

Maybe Jack will end up working out for us and he will play at least pretty close to expectations next year. Let's hope this was just an off year adjusting to a new team and role because we aren't going to be able to trade him. It's funny listening to Jack, you can hear him in the video.. Said "Gimme that shit" when he blocked Felton :chuckles:

Re: Jarrett Jack

well shoot that didn't last very long. He played good at Detroit game . Nets he wound up playing the worse overall but he had plenty of company.
Jack 9 pts 7 assist fg%33% 3P%20% But it all wasn't just his fault. NOBODY defended the 3 POINT LINE!! We shot horribly as an overall team. Nets were just crazy fg%55% 3P%48% There you have it. .

You'll have to go to the link, won't load at work

http://msn.foxsports.com/ohio/story...ous-april-fools-prank-on-allie-clifton-040214

Cavaliers sideline reporter Allie Clifton sat down with Jarrett Jack for a one-on-one interview earlier this week.

She asked the Cavs point guard about a number of topics, including his first year in Cleveland, the team's playoff hopes, and the impact he's had on his young teammates. And that's when things got... uncomfortable.

Poor Allie must've forgot that they were taping the interview on April Fools' Day -- and her reaction to Jarrett's prank was priceless.

Re: Jarrett Jack

Jack had a solid game 13 pts 4 asst, 4 rebs. He handled going back to his original position of back up point guard beautifully. I had a feeling it was going that way with all the recent hyped up media complimenting him on his leadership role. He should be fine with it because he still has Delly and will have Andy back. The 3 of them with either Kyrie or Dion will be an awesome 5 man combo line-up that will be a huge production of positive points. That wasn't even existent from Nov-Jan.

Re: Jarrett Jack

Two biggest games of the season and what does the big free agenct acquisition do? 4-13 and 1-8.

Most disappointing Cavalier since Donyell. Could not have had a shittier season.

Re: Jarrett Jack

I can't see him being here long-term so long as we have Kyrie & Dion.
