Former Cavalier Luke Walton joins Cleveland coaching staff.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Walton was a very heady basketball player and it was like having a second PG on the floor the year he was in the second unit with Livingston and the Grizzlies players (they did screw up the tank though).

He was hired to be developmental coach with the Lakers, but they signed LBJ, and that was all she wrote.

Now, if you're trying to build around guys like Fox or Sexton, he's a bad hire. They're not slowing the game down and running ball movement sets. They're off to the races and high PNR players.

So yeah, you need a PG like Garland, and (hopefully) a guy like Mobley who can serve as a secondary facilitator from the elbow. But even the best defenses struggle with teams that move both bodies and the ball well.
Saying that he ran an offense that was counter productive to his team is not a glowing endorsement despite thinking that our players are better fits for the trash.

Well, how many coaches have the Kings hired to try to reach Fox at this point?

How many coaches really stood a chance with guys like Westbrook or Wall?

I actually thought he played pretty well for us. He joined around the same time as Livingston, Ellington and Speights for memory and they seemed to improve the team that was god awful

Not only does it potentially unlock Windler, but it also frees up JBB to focus on talking to the referees, scowling, and being generally ornery to the officiating throughout. Fills a gap on the bench during games.

Name alone brings gravity. Immediate buy-in from entire organization. A+ hire.
