Cue the Browns coaching positions aren't so sought after all stuff
Not liking these DC options. At this point we should just hire a hot position coach on the rise.
Two sources told The Athletic that the Browns’ search for a special teams coordinator has centered around Mike Priefer, who holds the same role with the Vikings. Priefer has spent the past eight seasons with the Vikings and has 17 years of NFL experience after previously working for the Broncos and Chiefs. Priefer was born in Cleveland but moved frequently as the son of a coach; his father, Chuck, spent 17 years as an NFL assistant. Mike Priefer’s time with the Chiefs did not overlap with John Dorsey’s time as Chiefs’ general manager.
Why? I think they are going about it the right way. You just hired a HC with limited administrative experience, seems like hiring a DC with either past head coaching experience or extensive experience in the upper ranks of coaching is what Freddie needs to help support him throughout the transition. I don't think it's a coincidence that they have talked to Pagano, Joseph, Wilks, ect. See a theme? Dorsey gets it.Not liking these DC options.
