Just shocking, I mean shocking, that identical content typed on a typewriter would have the same spacing across documents. There are other spots where the spacing is off by 1 typewriter character width. They actually spent 5 years and held a press conference over the way typewriters work? (or at least worked back in the say when people used typewriters).

I also have to wonder how much time they spent rotating the documents themselves to get those to stamps to be "at the same angle". The same angle relative to what? The documents themselves aren't at the same angle. And the stamps don't have the same date.

I can't believe I waisted time even watching that nonsense.

I vote "Fake News". :chuckle:

Have to admit I got a chuckle out of the guy insinuating that this was some sort of expert who understands copy and paste.

THE SMOKING GUN!

Speaking of free press, journalists are now being placed under arrest in North Carolina as they continue to wage war on democracy and strip the incoming governor of his powers.

Should we not place journalists under arrest that are waging war on democracy and stripping the governor of power?

Did you ever pop the government released one into photoshop? Why layers? Why layers with signstures and text? If it was a scan should it not be flat? How do you get a scan with layers of specific text and signatures? Back when it was released I downloaded from .gov website where it was released because tons of photoshoppers were throwing a fit. There were definitely layers, probably still are.

which government released one? If it's a PNG or a JPG, it can't have layers. If you point me to the file, I'll take a look.

I don't see the "coup" in NC. The current legislature and governor are passing laws that don't appear to violate either the state or federal constitution.

One law makes gubernatorial appointments subject to confirmation by the state legislature, and another permits judges to add their party affiliation to the ballot.

Those are two of the complaints I've seen listed, and i don't understand how either of them is a "coup".

So you opened it and checked... Or you just googled some shitty website? I've done tons of scans on many types of scanners, never have I seen layers. Always a flat image.

I opened it and looked at the layers, moved them around to see what was under them. Then googled scanning to PDF and read up on how Acrobat does that. Acrobat doing that for compression reasons makes a ton more sense than the idea that a fake would have the layers the way they were.

Edit, the scanner doesn't make the layers, Acrobat makes the layers when it scans the document with optimization turned on.

I'm curious how that compares in scale to the U.S. government's propaganda operation. Of course, we won't see those numbers reported.

I'm also curious as to how that compares to the Democrats paying internet trolls to argue for them on websites, etc....

You're not worried about what Republicans pay?

I'd imagine it's less.

Heh.

Actually, I don't care one way or the other. And in terms of international posters, there are plenty of message boards that address U.S. politics on which people from all over the world participate. I've argued with French, Swedes, Canadians, etc., regarding U.S. politics.

In other words, I don't care about Russian trolls either.
