Game Thread | Game #57 | Pistons @ Cavs | Feb. 8, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Watched it late. Great end to 3rd and 4th. Detroit sucks, but winning by almost 30 without DM or DG is still impressive.
Pretty much the same.
Jarrett Allen masterclass for most of this game. Ditto for Raul Neto, a pickup I've always liked.
This might have been a 40+ point win if there weren't so many unnecessary 3-ball attempts outside of the offense.
The Cavs handling business against a short handed team with themselves short handed is the outcome I like to see.

What a diffeerence he makes over Pangos alone. Neto comes in a gives us something, best 3rd/4th pg in the league....would love to keep him but he only signed a 1 year 2.5 mill contract. We have his non bird rights, so 20% increase is 2 year 6.6 mill or so. I would love if he took that, do you think he would? That would be 31 and 32 years old for him, solid, solid vet, take up none of our MLE either to do it...assumig we dont try and get under the cap which i cant imagine we do.

This didnt age at all, but i would have thought maybe.

I’m happy we didn’t. Either he’s still rehabbing or he’s completely out of the lineup. Regardless of which it is, that’s better for the team and showing in the results. Mainly because I feel like just effort and energy from the opposing team negates anything useful Love is able to do on the floor for us. Dean is a much better sub if he’s not hitting shots.

Just out of the rotation… Wade is more effective, he’s also healing a hand injury…

He’s on Udonis Haslem mode

And we have a repeat appearance from a Cav on the NBA's top 10 plays from last night's victory. Who was good enough to show up 2 games in a row?
