Not saying he has no idea whats going on, but he definitely has been wrong on some things so far.

close this thread up, i dont want to hear Gerald Wallaces name again brought up here unless its because he quit the nba to become a crash test dummy. This rumor is about as reliable as the one that I slept with Megan Fox.

I'm with "Smooth" about Hickson. NO WAY should we give up on the kid in a trade for Wallace. My goodness; this kid is 19 years old. 19 !!!! Did many of you forget we drafted him knowing full well it would be a couple of years? He has shown me a bunch for such a short period of time with the team. At least let's allow the kid to play some more and get over his back injury. He's got lots of "jump" and a sweet looking shot. He just needs playing time and a few good post moves. He needs to get down the basics of playing against NBA players. I don't want to trade this kid at all.

NOW: if Charlotte was willing to take Jackson instead, well then, that's a bit different and something to think hard about. I still don't believe Wallace is a piece the current Cavs team needs at this point.

If Ferry traded away JJ at this point, I'd be totally shocked.

I hope I'm wrong, but I still have a little concern that he is jumping the gun on his Parker for 2yrs under 6 mil comment. I don't believe that has been verified anywhere else yet?...

Maybe they are still working on a S&T like Toronto did to get Hedo, even though it was announced several days ahead that they were going to sign him.

Then we could keep the MLE to get someone else.

Gee, big surprise, no truth to this rumor. I heard it on Rizzo this morning on my way to work and just now finally get to sit down and investigate. I am not surprised to find it was totally bogus.

Artest, Ariza, now Wallace? Just be happy with the small forward we have. the kid will do alright. good to see Ferry still has faith in him. he showed a little promise last season starting for us, so i see no reason to get another small forward.

Geez, what do you need as a source? Windy is one of, if not the, best beat reporter in the NBA and he verified Bucher's report.

I aprresicate that BW seems to hustle for information and post what he hears a lot of which does not pan out. His batting average is certainly better than the W&G coalition who basically consolidate the vast amount of information others have posted on this and other sites combined with his/their own interpretation, which is a positive thing. I look forward to hearing W&G's opinions but I don't view his/their comments come from "inside" the Cavs organization. Knowing how very guarded Ferry is with any information I can't how he would let some rogue employee comment on the internet no matter how generic his comments might be. In my opinion, simply not something that Ferry would permit, period.
