Goodbye Larry Nance Jr.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Looking forward to this dunk contest but I have to admit... how awesome would it have been to invite Vince Carter? Let's just see what he can still do, feel me?
He was my favorite player, the one i looked up to when i was younger. I still remember him and jkidd being the only teammates in history to have 40 point tripple doubles in the same game. And he always went bananas on the miami heat. I dont think he will win the dunk contest though. Yes he can dunk and do reverse 360's but thats because his body knows the motion so well. He doesnt jump that high anymore and hes not doing 360 windmills anympre.

On a side note i would love for vince to be on the cavs and win a title. Although i dont think he would get any playing time.

I have low expectstions for this years dunk contest. I was looking forward to seeing aaron gordon again. The ideal dunkers are like 6'5 to 6,8 for me. I just hope nance wins it so we have a dunk champ on the team andil it will add to the good vibes we have going on atm. I actually give him a good shot at winning it. He is my favorite participant even if he wasnt a cav.

So in guessing nance does a cradle rock and a multi ball dunk tonight right or even a 2 ball cradle dunk. Has to have done homage to pops surely

I haven't watched this since the judges screwed Dominique Wilkins to give the win to MJ in Chicago. Even Vince McMahon would have been ashamed of pulling shit like that.

But I'm so starved to see the Cavs again that I may tune in just to watch LNJ. They'll probably show some highlights of his dad, too.

How can you forget the cultural piece?

You're right. Calderon, and of course Cedi too. Don't know enough yet about the other young guys, and maybe they're the same type of players too.

What Altman did is really remarkable. He improved the talent level, the team culture, and remade us as a much younger team, all while giving up very little. What may make it more remarkable is that he did it without truly fleecing some other team that was just dumb. What Boston did with the Nets wasn't a much genius as simply highway robbery, and the good fortune to be trading with idiots. But Altman made deals that made at least some sense for the other teams involved, which meant he was being very smart -- not just lucky.

He is very articulate and wise beyond his years... you can tell. He also has some leadership qualities in him.

This is kinda why I feel he has the potential to be our Draymond at least defensively. He can’t handle the ball as well and doesn’t have the jumper yet...but we haven’t had a big with his defensive IQ since prime AV and while Nance isn’t as tall as Andy I feel like he’s much quicker, more athletic and even stronger and a better fit for today’s NBA anyways. You heard him talking about how Adams is bigger and stronger but he’s quicker and has more bounce and figured out how to immediately use that to his advantage and help us win that game.
