Guess the Surprise name in Windhorst's latest

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
McDyess =p

McDyess flat out said he would not play in Denver. The Nuggets never really had any choice. It can pretty much be assumed that the McDyess/Billups for AI deal was arranged to be Billups/AI straight up, as both sides figured McDyess would end up back in Detroit. McDyess was just included to make the salaries work.

While it's possible for a player with years left on his contract to be bought out, it is very, very unlikely.

There is no way Joe Smith is a better player or better fit then Rasheed. I doubt he gets bought out but that's beside the point.

Rasheed is obviously declining but even at this stage he fits what we need both on offense and defense then Smith. Rasheed has been a better man post defender then even big ben while Smith is an average defender at best. Rasheed may not go down in the post much but when he does he's better then anything we have and also better then Smith. Smith has a more reliable midrange jumper but he Wallace has more range in any case.

We become the title favorites with Rasheed, we hold serve against the Celtics with Smith: that's how big the difference is.

RASHEED IS NOT GETTING BOUGHT OUT!!!

if he does I will streak across the Q at the next home game and kiss Sheed right on the weird mole on his head.

i guess its a good thing for all of out sake that it's not gonna happen

I agree, was just giving Obawan shit ;)

So your argument is that we already have a guy who jacks up outside shots, so therefore adding another when we clearly need a post presence is viable?

Thanks for doing my job for me ;)

EDIT: And I havent looked but I'd like to think Z is shooting better than Sheed this season

so adding joe smith gives us a better post presence?

the same joe smith whose game is the 15 footers?

Joe Smith isn't a post presence

75% of the shots joe smith has taken this year, is from outside the paint.

yeah, what a post presence

I know Wallace has his antics against every team but is it possible we have a worse view of him then most because of the rivalry we've developed in recent years. Lebron and actually the whole team would have to buy into bringing in a player like Wallace for this to work. It's a lot easier to handle a challenging character player like Wallace if your team is solid character wise and your leaders are willing to give it a try. If our veterans don't want him here then we shouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole because it wouldn't work.

15 footers that go in>30 footers that don't

it's science

Adonal Foyle has just been bought out by the Grizzlies.....is he our mystery man? :detective

Adonal Foyle has just been released by the Grizzlies.....is he our mystery man? :detective

probably not, they said high profile. not unheard of but got a ridiculous contract.

I wouldn't mind signing Joe Smith for the rest of our pro-rated MLE, and then Foyle to the vet min as an insurance policy.

oh, well you should watch a Pistons game then before talking about Rasheed.

right, whatever you say....

3 point line is 23 feet, 9 inches

I would bet that he's not taking 3s from 30 feet out
