Happy Trails George Hill

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Was tremendous defensively all game. Wow is he good at that part of the game. His offense wasn't fully there tonight. In particular he had 2-3 corner looks that he usually is money on that he just missed. But Still a positive player and a big part of what we try to do.

I though he got fouled on that one corner 3 that almost went in but didn't see a replay

Have you guys seen this man in the locker room after the game?

Damn, he and Jeff Green couldn't believe they're in the NBA finals.

Yeah we take this shit for granted 4 years in but for guys like Hill, Green, And Calderon this is HUGE. All three ten+ years into the league and all three(well maybe not Jose) playing in their first Finals.

Even for the benchwarmers who don’t play in tightened playoffs rotation, they are still experiencing the NBA Finals while 93% of their peers have already started summer vacation.

Doesn't excuse the refs, but George's nerves got the best of him on that FT... gator-armed it, wasn't even close. He'll never forget that one.

I guess he couldn't find the Chipotle after all...

George looked like he was having an out of body experience when shooting those late free throws. I wouldn’t say he was shook even though he clanked one. I will say even long term veterans can’t mentally prepare for this environment until they go through it.

Hill played some good defense with a couple of clean strips on KD that were bs foul calls. Tough to stomach him missing that free though. If GS hits a game winner shot after that so be it. Would have been easier to deal with then whatever the hell actually happened.

I've never swung so much back and forward if I wanted a player on the Cavs traded in the offseason. His 19 million dollar expiring has alot to do with it. Some nights he seems like the great two way PG that really makes an impact on the game and other games he has the least impact out of any player on the team.

He would be perfect to be a plug in guard off the bench at either PG or SG but with a 19 million expiring that's not in the cards. I hope we trade him but he somehow gets put into another trade down the line and gets bought out.
