Have you considered expanding these classy forums into other Cleveland sports? I'm aware there is the Indians and Browns section, but I'm thinking a site more specialized toward the specific team.
I don't think the Tribe has any fans, atleast not true fans.
Huh? I take it you're not from Cleveland. Before Lebron came to town the Cavs were by far the 3rd sports attraction. It's dark times right now but baseball will always be big in cleveland. That doesn't mean in a bad economy we should go spend money on tickets to watch a team that our cheap owners just dismantled.
I still watch the games every day and there are some very knowledgeable tribe fans on this site. I think a more specialized site would be great...with sub sections for each minor league affiliate. Especially now since the farm has been loaded up with a bunch of newcomers, it'd be nice to have a forum discussing their daily progress. The good thing about rooting for a losing team is you don't have all the frontrunners and casual fans on these forums like the Cavs have attracted.
Anyways, good idea...ya got my vote.

Disagree completely..
Your argument makes no sense in a city where the Cleveland Browns continue to sell out every home game, despite their futility since their return..
The Cavs have to be good for fans to come out, same with the Tribe.. the Browns will continue to sell out every home game even if they go 0-16 the next 16 years..
I'd say not worth the trouble. Cleveland is one area anyway. Although, fans can be all over. It's just not worth it to pick up two other domains and also buy more hosting space with those sites if it's simply Cleveland sports. Besides, any marketing would have to be split up. Mods would be spread out with two or three other totally different domains. Software would have to be installed for each domain with their own separate databases and backends. The list goes on and on and on. This place has sections for all the teams, and I do think that is quite sufficient.Have you considered expanding these classy forums into other Cleveland sports? It seems appropriate, considering this blue collar town always follows the Browns first, Indians second, and Cavs are always last. The only reason there are so many Cavs fans right now is because 1) We have a superstar and 2) We're winning a lot.
But the people who found this site were probably always Cavs fans first, for several reasons, and it just happened to be big when it was relevant (2005 to now has been the Cavs Glory Years).
But if there were people who were bigger on Indians and/or Brown, they'd probably try to start a following. But this site manages to support the other two teams, considering they are from the same city. So at this point, it doesn't make too much sense, when this site already attracts the other fans with their multiple boards.
Me? I've always been a Cavs fan first and usually follow another team when they're winning. I'm a backwards Cleveland fan...
So it makes little to no difference to me if someone were to make it. This site offers things for every Cleveland fan, so I'm not complaining.
