Miami Notes

* Jason Kapono should reclaim the starting SF gig from James Posey, who has been playing well but shooting terribly.

* It's possible but unlikely Dwayne Wade could return.

* Miami, though less threatening, has turned into a more balanced team since Eddie Jones took over for the injured Wade. Jones shot an astounding 46.2 FG% in March, pretty solid for a fill-in player. The biggest difference is Jones doesn't get to the line often, forcing the team to find other scoring options.

Cleveland Key Points

* Lebron is back in the flow after missing 1 game with "knee tendintis".

* Gooden has been going through some impressive hot streaks, hopefully he'll keep his jumper going, because it will be hard to post up or get his tip-ins against Shaq.

* Sasha needs to continue to shoot high-percentage shots, because most of Larry's shots are smoke screens thrown up only to keep the other team off balance. Sasha also needs to step up the rebounding. His rebounding totals over the last 5 games are 0, 2, 4, 7, 1. Unacceptable.

* Gibson's jumper continues to round back into shape. Hopefully this will keep Damon Jones on the bench.

Mike Brown Gameplan Keys

- Use Z to draw fouls on Shaq like usual. This always seems to work for some reason.

- Don't be afraid to use Pollard's 6 fouls on Shaq, but don't go to him unless Shaq is just abusing Z and Andy.

- Keep Snow under 15 minutes. Keep Ira on the bench.

- Keep Larry passing first, shooting second.

Kyp's Prediction: Cavaliers 94 Heat 89

Don't see game of the year. I think the Pistons vs Cavs will be it though. So there is a small chance Wade can be back for the game?

Big challenge here. Our consistency has been wack of late, so backing up a strong performance in Minnesota is hardly a sure bet. Miami have a very balanced attack. Attack Shaq, force the ball out of his hands. Z has struggled against Shaq the last few meetings, despite previously having great success. Try and get Z going early. We need to keep Williams in front of us. He is erratic at best shooting outside, and they have been living off him playing a Steve Nash run all over the shop style offense.

Playing tough inside is essential. Miami will be looking to physically steal 2nd chance points. Keeping Zo and Shaq off the offensive boards is key.

Kyp, thanks for the preview.

Pistons just got spanked by the Bulls in their house.

I think that we need more Boobie off the bench and less Snow. LeBron should be able to punish Kapano but if we bring Snow off the bench and give him extended minutes LeBron will be double teamed to death.

This is a perfect team to play Boobie extended minutes.

We have to get the ball down low in the post. Force feed LeBron, Gooden, and Z. Take it to them and hope Gibson, Hughes, and Pavs heve their J going tonight.

did mike brown not coach the cavs about 5 games since last year. b/c they just said he has won 92 games as the head coach, i would think that it should be at 95.

lebron needs to do something... anything

Is there anyway i can watch this game over the internet on dial up?

what in the world is going on? I try to be a positive Cavaliers fan, and they go out and play like this to start the game. We are so bad playing in those orange jerseys, I think we only have one win. Can anyone confirm our record in the oranges?

Crap, I lost my bookmarks too... anyone have the TNT link for TVU?

It's been showing only on Sopcast , but my sopcast is sth wrong.. Damn i want to see this game :(

Heat are shredding the net from outside. Cavs got to step out and guard them.

Officials are shafting the Cavs tonight. Fans are booing. Shaq just fouled Z and the refs ignored it.

Not good when LBJ tells Pavs to take the techs.
