Heat @ Cavaliers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I was really expecting LeBron to take over in overtime. I guess he got tired.

Ugh, what a way to lose.

a telling stat they showed in the game lebron is 0-11 from 3PT with 2 minutes in regulation

again i'll say: Imagine if the cavs decided to play 48 minutes. Those 10 minute droughts, which seem all to common around here, will kill you.

Man, I truly hate Larry Hughes.

I'd love to see Ferry trade Hughes to Charlotte for Brevin Knight and their second (our former) first round pick. Then Ferry drafts Tiago Splitter. Would be nice . . .

this team is in desperate need of oncourt leadership and savvy rotations.

we have NO poise under pressure

I don't know if you can really pin-point one man. This was truly a team effort unfortunately. Pavs decided not to show up past the first, lebron made some mental mistakes, the bench was unproductive. It's all the way around.

Ugh...Cavs deserve 5th seed. They really do. That was some horrible basketball.

They have 13 seconds in a tie game in regulation to make a shot. Heat are in the penalty, so what do they do. Run James around the perimeter for 11 seconds and then he hoists a contested 3.

Then they turn the ball over...no, just throw the ball away twice on decisive possesions in OT. They force OT now just to lose the game and be that much more tired for tomorrows game.

I really don't understand this team. I don't understand what they are trying to accomplish for most of the game. Do they have a plan? When the game started, they decided to single cover Shaq. Thats fine, be prepared to have him score a bit, just make sure you defend everyone else. So he starts scoring and then they decide "Oh, we need to double", then everyone else gets going along with Shaq.

This was really poor coaching and on the court decision making. Everyone is to blame for this.

I keep hearing the Cavs say they are ready for the challenge, they know what they have to do, blah, blah, blah....but I think they are just saying the right things. I don't think they really are ready or know what they have to do. You just don't play like...I don't know, like idiots if you really understand the task at hand. Anyway, they deserve the fifth seed in my opinion. They don't look like they have really gained any experience this season.

This was a winnable game. The Cavs defense was good enough in the 2nd half and the Heat really weren't at their best especially as the game went on. Cavs only gave up 30 points in the 2nd half. There were defensive problems in the 1st half though.

Once again the main problem is the pathetic offense. I don't have any idea what the Cavs were trying to do offensively all night. They were constantly settling for long jumpers.
We saw the offensive genius residing on the sideline demonstrated with that great play at the end of regulation.
It can be tough to win sometimes when the entire focus is one dimensional. There are 2 ends of the court where you need to be effective.
