Hey guess what... Lakers Suck !!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: LMAO@Lakers Fans

I'm saying that LeBron doesn't have Shaq like Kobe had Shaq. You're making my point. Kobe wouldn't have been there without Shaq, and Shaq without Kobe.

LeBron made it and had one of the worst teams to ever play in the NBA finals. This isn't an argument. The Lakers were stacked. The Cavs had Damon Jones, Donyell Marshall, and a whole bunch of other scrubs.

ok so they made it out of the east which was a Joke that year only quality team was Detroit but they choke everytime, but once they faced a quality team in the west they didnt win a single game they got swept, if lebron was in the west with Smush, Walton, Parker and Lamar in the starting line up he would have not even made to the playoffs

ok so tell me why didnt he win his first Chip until kobe got there?

Bitches at what age did kobe win an NBA Championship, and how is is Lebron and hasnt won one? and dont say it was because of shaq, look at the games and look what kobe did, if shaq wasnt there the lakers wouldnt have won and if kobe wasnt there the lakers wouldnt have won either

Shaq= 3 Finals MVPs

Kobe= How many?

Anyway, LeBron has never had a Shaq, so it's really bullshit to say that LeBron should've won a championship the same age as Kobe without having the most dominant big man, possibly of all time, next to him.

Plus, Kobe even got Gasol last year and didn't win a ring with him even though Pau is far and away the best player not named LeBron/Kobe on the Cavs or Lakers.

Re: LMAO@Lakers Fans

so you are telling me that if shaq didnt have kobe the lakers would have won the championship?
Probably...

I grew up in LA, went to UCLA during the 3 peat, and had season tickets to the Lakers for their 99-00 season.. I watched all 82 games and every playoff game..

The only team that was remotely capable of standing in the way of LA was Portland that season.. However, that series went 7 games and the Kings series in round 1 went it's max at the time (5 games) because of Kobe's selfishness and poor play for the most part..

I remember that game 6 in Portland that series and Kobe jacked up 20+ shots to Shaq's 16 or 17 when Shaq was abusing Sabonis...

Lakers won, and Kobe is a fantastic player with a fantastic career, but with Kobe, or with a lesser talented player, the 99-00 Lakers with an MVP prime Shaq would have won regardless IMO... And in some cases would have performed much better without Kobe...

And BTW, I'm a Kobe fan...

Yeah LeBron hasn't won one but he wasn't spoon fed & drafted into a team that was already a playoff contender. Micheal Jordan didn't win one until his 7th season & LeBron is in his 6th season....

ok so its clear to me u didnt see the games clearly, look at how many games kobe closed out during those years, in the final minutes who had the ball who took control, it was kobe while shaq was fouled out or on the bench because he couldnt hit free throws, watch every single game and tell me who closed out every game it was kobe

Re: LMAO@Lakers Fans

As much as their fans are retards, the team is scary. They're on pace to pretty much cruise to the finals, depending on whether the Spurs can get it done.

Exactly & i am sure Phil Jackson joining the team had something to do with it.

Detroit won the NBA championship in 2004. How do they always choke.

Smush Parker? Really?

You're not making a point. LeBron has never had the good fortune of having a first ballot HOF'er, that was in his prime, alongside him. Kobe did. When Shaq leaves, Kobe doesn't get anymore rings, even when they had Bynum and Pau Gasol. I guess it was because they faced a quality team in the East.

Re: LMAO@Lakers Fans

i would actually love to see Lebron play in the Triangle offense just to see how his passing skills would be, he would avg 5 assist too because he wouldnt handle the ball like he does for the Cavs, its all about the System they run

Kobe handles the ball constantly, don't even try to tell me how often he is off the ball in the triangle, just look at the Knicks game where he essentially went 1 v. 5 every time he went up the floor. Our system has been taking LeBron off the ball more this year than in the past, now we have a point guard who can run things, we also occasionally play LBJ at the 4 which takes him off the ball. Sure we run the LeBron Iso sometimes, but every team with an offensive talent like him runs an Iso, even the Lakers do it with Kobe.

and of course he is going to to get more rebounds he is a foward, plus why would kobe need to rebound when his team is one of the best rebounding teams

Now you attack the rebounding, that's like saying "who cares if Kobe shoots better, he's a guard." Problem being that LeBron shoots better than Kobe does as well, also the Cavs are one of the best rebounding teams in the NBA just like the Lakers, so why should LeBron rebound?

like kenny the JET said there are 3 lies, Lies, Lies, and Stats,

:chuckles: I'll be nice and just ignore that part.

struggling agaisnt elite teams going 5-20, 5-15 doesnt get you the title
Yes LeBron has had his struggles this year, I concede that fact, however part of the problem was the rest of the team being ice cold offensively, LeBron loses faith in his teammates when they aren't knocking down shots. So then he tries to do too much which leads to games like these.

Now lets look at an overall body of work, before the Gasol trade last year, what exactly was Kobe accomplishing? Nothing, he was getting so frustrated that he asked to be traded, that is until he had an all-star F/C dropped into his lap. He couldn't accomplish anything without Shaq either, he needs an All-Star big man to be successful at all.

LeBron however, just 2 years ago, managed to make it to the NBA finals, with perhaps the worst ever supporting cast. Larry Hughes, Sasha Pavlovic, LBJ, Drew Gooden, and Z? Hughes, who now seems to be fitting in with the Knicks oh so well, Sasha who comes off the bench if he's lucky, and Drew "which guy should I be guarding?" Gooden. Sure it didn't end well for the Cavs, but the point is that LeBron is able to make his teammates better, and do more with less than Kobe ever has been able to.

Yet, a lot of those games were in that position because Kobe put them there...

Kobe really didn't start taking off until his 5th season in 00-01...

Kobe had this mentality as a rookie (air balling game winning attempts against the Jazz)-- he had the mentality during his 2nd season in which he was abused against Utah again...He was terrible against San Antonio his 3rd year in the semis..

And he was selfish during his first championship campaign as well.. Did he bail them out a lot ?? Sure, but again, that was in part to him putting them in that situation to begin with...

It was a one-two punch, but a prime Shaq was much superior to a young Kobe.... I'm sure if Kobe would have stayed with the Charlotte Hornets there's probably a great chance he's not a champion right now either...

Bynum and Ariza werent there, when your missing 2 quality guys its very hard to win a championship, its like the Cavs without MoWill and Wally or without Big Z and Wally

Hm...

Kobe drives, doesn't pass to the open man, shoots, misses
then
Shaq taps it back out
Horry drains the game winner to end their series with Kings.

It's not like Kobe entered the league and the Lakers became the best either. Kobe lost in the playoffs his first three seasons, his third season he even got swept in the WCF (by the Spurs:chuckles:).

In LeBron's fourth season he led a team with no dominant anything to the Finals and lost to the Spurs. Then last year a completely reformed Cavs lost in a close Game 7 to the Celtics, who beat the Lakers even worse in the Finals. Now the Cavs are actually having a great regular season, while usually they don't get their a-game going until the playoffs. So the Lakers better watch out for the Cavs and their #1 defense if they want to take that trophy.

Anyway, bringing rings into the discussion of Kobe/LeBron is really a moot point because Kobe was drafted onto a playoff team with the best center while LeBron was drafted onto THE WORST TEAM IN THE NATION! Comparing their road to glory is ridiculous, because any glory LeBron gets will be his own doing while Kobe road on Shaq's coat-tails to the top.
