Hollywood scandal

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I read the Buccigross texts. That shit was absolutely consensual.

The texts were all just months and months of flirting between two people who seemed to be on the same level professionally and basically appeared to be hooking up from time to time without mentioning that they were doing so in the texts.

Yeah they do.

No, they don't.

I just hired a woman who went through exactly this kind of harassment and worse, and with that said, I know plenty of women who have been sexually harassed in the workplace. It's quite common.

My experience has been that it is not nearly as severe and pervasive as reported to be in Hollywood. But then, I've only been practising in that field for 25 years.

Allegedly, at least 12 members in House of Reps will be turning in resignations over the next 72 hours.

All is regards to settle harassment claims.

Seems pretty legit, but I guess we will see. I would imagine Saturday and Sunday out of the news cycle would be when they're formally announced. No idea of who or from what party although it's likely to encapture from not having sides of aisle.

The thing that sucks is that settlement of a claim doesn't necessarily mean you did anything wrong.

Yea 1. Not even close to a majority of men sexually harass (not sure if that's being argued here or not) and 2. Out of the places I've worked, and they have been seedy, one had one manager come onto a woman inappropriately.

But were all going anecdotal here, so.

..sigh.. yeah, they do... Here's a visual aid that might help:

I'm not sure what this means.. like.. what values are you measuring? The reality is that a very very large percentage of women have been sexually harassed while at work..

But then, I've only been practising in that field for 25 years.

Right, and yet, you seem not to realize just how common sexual harassment in the workplace really is. To argue it's not prevalent in corporate America is somewhat ridiculous, particularly coming from someone who is claiming "25 years of experience in that field."

I wonder if you would tell a prospective female client something like this?

Doesn't have to be a majority of men since there is not a 1-to-1 parity between those harassing and those being harassed. Given sexual harassment appears to be a behavioral pattern, one man might serially harass dozens of women. This would mean few men are guilty of sexual harassment, but many multiples more women have experienced it nonetheless.

Anyone read the Jerry Richardson shit? Dude was asking female employees if he could shave their legs. WTF?

So perhaps this was a problem in corporate America too

Kinky.

In my own experience, 1 in three women have been sexually assaulted at some point in life, and half experienced sr cual harassment atvwork..

So let's make sense of that.

If it's 1/3, and that spans over their entire life, there isn't a statistical possibility that it's happening in a majority of corporate America.

40 years of jobs over a career. 2/3 never have been. So no, that's not a majority or WOMEN let alone places of employment.

Just an aside, how are we defining sexual assault? Asking out someone in an elevator? If so, shits gonna get kinda rough for guys. I'm not a rapist for flirting.

We're going to end up seeing a scenario play out where men just stop interacting with women on a day to day basis. Being friendly won't be worth the potential risks.

Definitions:

Forciblibly penetrated by a dick...

1/3...

50 % harassed as in asked for sexual engagement after asking the source to stop..

If we are talking about obscenity in the workplace, objectifying women (such as "nice rack!") Would be 100 percent..

Shit happens in the work place all the time.

Some women leverage it, will put out for promotion..

Some women are sexually aggressive with direct reports too.
