Hooroo, Andrew Bogut. (A blimey broken tibia)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I hate to say this, but the hole 58 second thing is hilarious. I am not even going to say its a "Cleveland" thing, its the type of story line you would expect to see in Semi Pro 2 ,lol.

Not only the 58 seconds part, but the whole buildup to him even stepping foot on the court.

"Bogut is traded, will he get a buyout?" "He's getting a buyout, Cavs?" "Going to test his options, other teams in the mix." "Committed to Cleveland, going to take a weekend off then start with them Monday."

Then... BAM! The guy's leg snaps like a twig.

Can't help but think of this:

He would have made a great situational impact, and regular season defensive impact...but where it counts (Warriors), I'm not so sure.

.

this....I think he would have been a non-factor vs the Warriors but against the more physical east, he would have been a big help

Most of GS points come from inside the paint and FT's, why do people think that all the Warriors do is shoot 3PT's lol?

Durant is going to eat Thompson and Love alive inside the paint, they won't even bother him and that's game, we'll probably have to put LeBron on him 24/7 to limit penetration as much as possible because those two are not going to bother him at all when he gets to the rim.

This is true but at the same time, GS would just put him in pick and rolls constantly as they do with Frye and he wouldn't be anywhere near the rim to stop Durant.

Might not be fair to do this, but Bogut snapped his leg within one minute of action. The chances of him staying healthy through a potential finals run and making an impact were always slim.

That said, had he stayed healthy, and the Cavs played the Warriors in the finals, he probably would have played 5-10 mpg, tops. In other words, he wasn't going to play enough to make a significant impact.

they would have iso's bogut on and island and hit perimeter shots all day. he can't switch like Thompson.

this is the time to go after sanders..

Sign Larry Sanders and give him a bunch of weed and fake piss and we should be good.

This would have helped us endure the Kevin love absence and limited minutes for bigs. Our success in playoffs will be driven by guys we had already beyond him. He would have been a more impactful Kendrick Perkins, a luxury but hardly a necessity.

I think what bums me out the most about this is we didn’t even get a chance to see what this team could look like with Bogut manning the paint for us.

We don’t even know what the potential could have been for our team with Bogut setting dirty screens for us, and as fans we were robbed of that experience. It’ll just be another “what if”.

Most of that comes from their switching and transition. In the post-season when the game slows down, that will change and they'll be back to chucking threes.

I expect us to do the opposite. Our threes will decrease and we'll attack the paint.

$383k in pay for 58 seconds of play

He didn't even have to move his shit to Cleveland.
