Hooroo, Andrew Bogut. (A blimey broken tibia)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think what bums me out the most about this is we didn’t even get a chance to see what this team could look like with Bogut manning the paint for us.

We don’t even know what the potential could have been for our team with Bogut setting dirty screens for us, and as fans we were robbed of that experience. It’ll just be another “what if”.

Yup.

Even the play he got hurt on, was sort of him trying to be slightly dirty sticking his leg out.

We needed somebody like that with a little bit of nasty in them. Right now guys just waltz down the lane with no resistance.

It's hard to imagine a Hollywood movie inventing a more tragic (and, in some ways, comical) plot line than this.

More than anything, I feel bad for Bogut, who will potentially miss out on a Finals run this season and a lot of money next season.

And for the team and us fans, what makes this especially hard is the tremendous build-up of excitement before Bogut's debut, which had an incredibly anticlimactic ending.

Of course, as others have said, if Bogut couldn't survive 58 seconds under fairly normal circumstances, it's difficult to imagine him making it thru the Finals without incident. I much prefer this injury happening now when the team still has time to react rather than during the Playoffs.

Regardless, there's too much talent on this team to wallow in pity over an injury to who would've been a fringe rotation player. Let's hope Griff can pull one more rabbit out of his hat while the rest of the players start focusing and playing closer to their potential.

He is a player that you just love when he is on your team. There is a strong bias here and that's just the human nature. I hated him on Golden State and thought he was dirty , but I think he would have been one of our top favourites on the team had he been healthy eventhough he was our enemy for 3 years.

He makes some dangerous plays but when he is on your team you just don't give a fuck. Fucking Humans.

So why haven't we signed Sanders already, we need to get him into game shape and give him as many reps with the team as possible like asap.

I'd prepare yourself for us doing nothing.

Not saying I agree with it.

But I'm just not really buying we are bringing in someone right now.

Edit:

Cavs to bring in someone after the road trip according to McMenamin.

That's weird, I wonder whats the reasoning behind this? You don't have many games left in the regular season and you need to use any game you can get right now.

If its Sanders maybe they want him to practice with the team first?

Not weird at all. What on earth makes you think it does any good at all to bring in a new guy in the middle of a road trip? Just throw him out on the floor during a live NBA game with no practices or meetings?

Yeah, great plan.
