Hue Jackson and Todd Haley Fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I guess my honest question to you guys is, do you all believe he's definitely gone at the end of the year? Or, at least someone tell me something to make me believe he is? They can ship Haley out with him while they're at it . . .

Oh, if hue is fired Haley and the rest of the staff is gone as well.

What competent OC's do you think would be interested in the job next year assuming we see a change at HC?

Getting the right guy for Mayfield's development should be tantamount. I don't care if we hire a defensive-minded coach because we have the personnel in place to do some damage but a potential OC switch might be equally as important as securing a competent HC.

I think Hue Jackson and the entire staff will be fired at the end of the season, yes.

I think they're going to finish something like 5-10-1 and Hue will mercifully be let go.

Like @Amherstcavsfan said though, the name that has been floated out the most on Twitter has been Jim Schwartz which really concerns me.

The only way I would be ok with that would be if Schwartz was able to hire a creative OC and even then I'm not overly sold on the idea.

Not that I think he will do a poor job, but you do have to consider that John Dorsey has never conducted a head coaching search before despite seven years as an NFL general manager. Reid was already hired before Dorsey was brought on in KC.

Reid also had an impressive hc resume when he was hired before dorsey. I don’t think anyone is out there with that kind of pedigree in today’s market. Maybe that changes.

I may get crucified for the suggestion but it's what I think this team needs.

He says he's happier now in the booth with more time for family and all that but is there any chance we take a chance at bringing in Bill Cowher. I love the dudes attitude and his hard nose style is what a young team needs. There are a lot of things going on with this team that I don't think he would tolerate and would change quickly.

He's also got the Cleveland ties and the pedigree. I know it's a pipedream but always liked the way he does business

Based off his commentary, I'm pretty sure Cowher would be coming in here preaching establishing and stopping the run. I don't think he's made any adjustments to the NFL after being out of the league for around a decade.

His brand of football is a bit dated these days.

NOOO dudes been out of the league for a lifetime in football years and all you need to do is look to Oakland to see how that would likely turnout. Also probably would cost a Gruden type deal as well which doesn't effect us per say but that is about the only way you get him to move out of the cushy TV gig with minimal stress and work.

BILL COWHER!!!

MARRRRTY SCHOTTENHEIMER!!!

So we're just going to ignore that his style of football has been getting boat raced by the leagues elite for the last few years now?
